Tori Amos To Release A Christmas Album?

Though Tori Amos has dabbled in Yuletide carols, could a full length album of holiday tunes be on the way for the musician?
Though there's been no official word from Amos or her people, Universal Republic lists an album titled Christmas from her with a November release.
That would certainly be interesting!
And slightly blasphemous!
And a must-buy for us!!!!

I think I just puked up yesterdays breakfast from seeing her nasty old ass still trying to be "sensual". If you bought her first album you bought all the rest of them. Boring. If you really want to listen to a female artist/pianist/vocalist who uses her immense talents to express rage at the society that allowed aids, sexism, and genderism to destroy generations of men and women, got get yourself a sampling of Diamanda Galas' work, particularly Plague Mass and Mask of the Red Death.

She's part of the celebrity "kingdom" because she was one of the first female singers to write, play and sing her own songs during the grunge movement. Yes, that's right. Grunge didn't just belong to the boys. She was a groundbreaker and a chart-topper and is gorgeous in real life. Her shows are sexual and sultry. Tori Amos is a Goddess, timeless, Wise, groundbreaking, Subversive, and Seductive and I pray pray pray that she puts a little awesomeness into Christmas!!!! I can't wait to see her in August!!!!!
This lady is a diva! I love her cover of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"! She also has a few songs that have a winter theme. She is probably going to write a lot of the songs. I hope she makes a christmas album!!! I find her voice to be heartbreakingly beautiful!

OMG! If Y'all don't know Tori then don't even bother commenting! Positve or negative comment! She is an amazing musician in her own right! started in the early 90's and now has made a name for herself. Anyway, as far as making a Christmas Album? Tori has not done it yet so WHY NOT?

Maybe you should revisit the word "old," particularly for the music industry. A little Madonna anyone? Rolling Stones? Creedence Clearwater Revival? Smokey? The Beatles? The Who? The Doors? All of these groundbreaking artists/bands are irrelovant to you because you're too much of a thumb-sucking child to make any worthwhile comment on the history of pop/rock.

It is official - Tori commented on it at a radio station, saying it's going to be more of a "Solstice" album, with strings and the whole works.
Only Tori could pull this off with class and make it not a selling out sort of thing.
For those who don't know her - if you like complex and incredible music that has real emotion behind it, and you're done listening to 'songs' about dancing, clubs and DJs, look her up.
