Opening day at the Del Mar Race track in SoCal on Wednesday was enjoyed by several famous faces and also, some mildly recognizable faces using up the last of their 15 minutes.
Among the attendees were The Hills star Audrina Patridge and beauty queen Carrie Prejean.
Out of the two, Audrina definitely works the classic, floppy derby hat much better. It looks classy, not like a white Hefty bag twisted to masquerade as a hat. Plus, we like the added bonus that it blocks her eyes from examining the ceiling.

In the universe where this matters, I must say that you're biased against Carrie. She had a lovely hat that captured the SoCal beachy-airy-lightness. Audrinas hat was lovely as well.
