Televised Marriage Proposal Rejection!!!

Ouch!

This just happened earlier today!

On a special episode of the Australian NRL Footy Show, a man is brought up on stage to propose to his girlfriend of 3 years in front of a crowd of thousands and millions of viewers at home only to be DENIED!

Quite dramatic, too!

The woman began to panic and shout "You cannot do this now" before running off stage.

Aren't you supposed to say "yes" and dump the poor bastard later?!

I was at the show live, and it was real. The lady ran off stage and left her bag in the crowd. The man then followed her and they didn't come back for the rest of the show. They're seats were left empty for the rest of the show and being at the front, if it was a set up the producers would have organised people to fill them. During the ad break the footy show boys were asking if it was real or not themselves, so they had no idea about it either.
