The caped crusader returns!

While appearing on a panel at Comic-Con on Friday, Gary Oldman gave some precious deets on Christopher Nolan's Batman franchise.

"The next Batman is shooting next year. It's at least two years away," said the actor who portrays Commissioner Gordon in the films. "But you didn't hear it from me."

Just say you heard it from us!

      I didnt like how they ended the last one.. batman is gonna be the hunted bad guy in the next movie… zupa lame..

      I kind of think they could have ended with just two movies, although I suppose the main actors' contracts were for three. Just don't re-cast the Joker and I'll be happy.

      Yes! So excited! Only way this could get better is if they could somehow convince Johnny Depp to be in it. LOVE HIM SO MUCH!

      I guess Batman doesn't have to worry about the Joker anymore, I mean who could they cast that could even come close? oh, I know Christian Slater!!! But I actually think Heath Ledger was the only good thing in that last Batman movie. I liked Christian Bale better in American Psycho.
