Jay-Z To Replace Beastie Boys

Jay-Z will be replacing the Beastie Boys at All Points West Music & Arts Festival in New Jersey.

The Beastie Boys had to drop out and cancel their upcoming schedule so that member Adam Yauch can receive treatment for a cancerous tumor in his salivary gland.

This will be Jay-Z's US music festival debut.

Sorry Perez, bit this is not Jay-Z's first US festival. He was part of the WHFStival in Washington DC a few years back.

My friend wanted us to go to the festival but I have to work. Jay-Z is my favorite rapper I am more of a rocker but I really get into his music. I saw his vid for "D.O.A." (Death of Autotune) the other night and it was off the chain. I wish I was going there are a lot of cool and eclectic musical selections scheduled to appear. Get well soon Adam!!
