Authorities will be investigating Jude Law regarding his alleged altercation with a female paparazzi on Wednesday night.
"I felt his hand come across my face. It was really loud – there was a massive thud and my face is still stinging,” said the victim Harsha Gopal.
After the incident, another group of photogs waited outside the Wyndham Theater to demand an apology from Jude.
“When Jude left the theatre photographers started booing and hissing at him, holding up newspapers with pictures of Jude and Harsha on the front page," said an onlooker. “There were a few who wanted to stand up to Jude – they were demanding he apologize."
Jude claimed he already did, and that the incident was finished.
Guess not!
He'll be hearing from the police soon!!!

In other pictures of this supposed "slap" he isn't even near her face, it is on the back of her head-and it VERY clearly looks like he was raising his hand and she was just there. I have absolutely no sympathy for the paparazzi! They are way out of control and constantly violate people’s space and privacy. There's a picture on OK magazine site that shows the paps hanging outside the door of Wyndham theater last night waiting for Jude to leave. He had already been to the stage door and greeted his fans, signed stuff, had pictures made with them like he does every night. So when he goes out front to leave, there are the paps, booing him, and one even got in his face and there's a picture with his hand in Jude's stomach and his camera raised. If I were to photo assume, I could swear that the guy hit Jude in the stomach and was getting ready to pummel him with the camera! I think Jude should sue! Go get 'em Jude, I think it's high time the law started protecting celebs instead of the whiny=ass bottom feeding, rude, obnoxious paps. I'm sure they're not all that way, but it seems there are quite a few that give them all a bad name.
I'd like to do this to the people in the mall who get in my face and ask about my nails and shit. Wonder what would happen if I did it?
