    I don't get it why people keep saying that they're doing it for the attention. Because they only dress up at the soundcheck and only a few fans can see them there.     You should have seen him when he took off the bee head. He was sweaty so his hair was all matted and he looked gorgeous. They just do it for fun, and it's silly and cute. Fans expect the goofiness from Joe, as part of their VIP access to him. He's become known for it, so he's basically doing his JOB.

    And at the end of the day, it is a FRACTION of what they do, as a way to have fun with their fans. There's the small matter of putting on an almost two-hour show of MUSIC almost every night. Geez people, get some perspective.

    Their songs are really good and they put on one of the best, most energetic live shows out there with a phenomenal band behind them. And even the critics are finally starting to admit how many older people are showing up to shows who are obviously fans not just parents.

    So how about getting over it, you sullen teens?

    Everyone hits off notes. Joe may not be to your taste but he's absolutely a great vocalist. Nick's good too. That doesn't always mean "pitch perfect". Even the Beatles hit off notes, and have you never heard of Bob Dylan; a million and one rock, indie or britpop bands where sing offkey is basically ALL they do (and they are still really good)?
