Heigl's latest flick, The Ugly Truth, opened at a surprising $10 million on Friday, and is expected to earn a solid $25-$30 mil by the weekend's close!
But bitch probs won't be #1!
Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer's 3-D animated G-Force is projected to earn over $30 million during its opening weekend, securing the PG film the #1 spot.
Sadly, the over-promoted horror flick Orphan bombed big time this weekend, with the scary movie only expected to take in $12-$15 million at the box office.

And by the way, given the low production costs/budget of Orphan, they might just be pleased with the estimated $12-15 million opening. FYI - not every movie needs to open with $50 million to be a success.

I consider myself a pretty big horror movie buff and I wasn”t going into The Orphan with much expectations, but it blew all recent horror movies out of the water! I absolutely loved it and that little girl deserves some sort of accolade for her performance. To me at least, it was a completely original movie instead of one of the many derivative remakes that have been churned out in recent years. Please go and support this movie, but do not let anyone spoil the ending for you.
People this movie is amazing! Our theater was packed for this movie. It was hysterical! It just so funny to the point your afraid to drink to much more soda!

I saw Orphan and it's my favorite thriller of the year. The young actress playing the part of Esther does an amazing job.

It was kind of a lame movie. The actors did a great job and there were several really funny parts, but the story, especially towards the end, should have been a little more "complete"

There has to be something besides: zombies, vampires, black market organ sales, backpacking across Europe for students or recent graduates only to wind up in a snuff flick, graphic and drawn-out dismemberment by friends that will end up dead themselves anyway by the end of the movie, mutant supervirus that turns people into frothing-at-the-mouth cannibals that eat people for 28 days or weeks later when they either starve or die somehow, creepy little kids, serial killer vs babysitter, and jason/michael meyers/freddy krueger solo or in any combination - for horror movie plots. I'm not sure what else is left, but I'm starting to hope for a new hellraiser…which would be #9 or #10 for the series, and at this point it should be set in a retirement community because that's probably the only place pinhead HASN'T turned up. But hey, I'm not writing a screenplay any time soon.
