The ever-so-elusive Octo-Mom reality show is coming soon!!!
And in the least surprising news stemming from the deal - Octopussy's 14 children will be raking in the $$$$$!
Eyeworks, the production company behind such reality trash as Suleman's show and Breaking Bonaduce, wrote and delivered contracts to the Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday requesting permission for the children to be allowed to earn $250 a day during the course of filming.
Always gotta keep an eye out for those child labor laws, right?
If the show is picked up for the proposed three seasons, the Suleman 14 could potentially pick up a $250,000 paycheck!!!!

It's a long way to an actual show and the kids are protected in California by the Coogan law.
Under California law, whenever a minor renders artistic services, employers are required to deposit 15% of gross earnings directly into the minor’s “Coogan(blocked trust) Account”. The monies placed in trust cannot be touched by anyone until the minor turns 18 or becomes legally emancipated.
Parents or Legal Guardians are required to establish a “Coogan Trust Account”
within seven business days after a minor’s employment contract is signed, and to provide the minor’s employer with a copy of a trustee’s statement (evidencing proof of the account) within ten (10) business days after the start of employment.
I have to say, that really isn't that much money when you consider there are 8 children. I think she will be stripping again.

$83k per year, a certain amount has to be put away in accounts for the children for later, cougan law, or gloria aldrige will ride her ass all the way to family court, income taxes, yeah, living large! (15% taken off of 78,000 for investment for all the kids, taxes, etc. so maybe, maybe, somewhere in the $60's) So 60,000 for 15 people -no way can that support that many people. she will need like 20 reality shows at once. plus medicare and welfare and public support.

I bet we are only hearing about part of the money in the deal. I think because of the Coogan law, the information about the kids money is public since the company had to file with the court and get approval.
I am positive Octomom has ALSO cut a private deal for herself for more money, and that part of the deal is confidential since the money would be going to her and not the kids.
I am sure she wouldn't sign a contract for the amounts listed unless there was something more for her that the public won't know about.
