Billy Bob Thornton's Estranged Daughter Released On Bail

Billy Bob Thornton's estranged daughter, Amanda Brumfield, has been released on a $279,000 bail from the Orange County, Florida, jail where she had been incarcerated for the negligent death of a young child on her watch.

Meanwhile, her court case for first degree murder charges remains pending.

In addition to murder charges, Brumfield, who has her own children, is facing aggravated child abuse and manslaughter.

Brumfield was babysitting one year old Olivia when she died of a large skull fracture. Brumfield says she fell out of her playpen but investigators suspect homicide.

How can ppl do this?! You have to have something wrong with you mentally to do this shit!! A little baby.. A tiny baby that depends on you to live.. I know they cry lots, but they're cute, so innocent, and so precious.. How can you take the life of a baby, who hasn't even began to live yet? And the parents.. What they must be going through.. They'll never trust anyone the same again.. My condolences and prayers go out to them.. God bless them..

Listen, I know you people are going to assume what you want and say all these horrible things about Amanda… but I know her personally and she would NEVER do anything to harm a child… or anyone for that matter! She was good friends with the baby's mother and they had known each other for quite some time. The news media (including this website) and people such as yourselves do not know ALL the facts. I hope and pray that you guys are never in situation like this where facts are twisted and people assume the worst about you. Until the case is heard before a jury, she is considered innocent until proven guilty. Remember that. Thanks.
