The hit Broadway play, God of Carnage brought in over $1 million in ticket sales last week!!
That is an extremely rare feat for a non-musical on Broadway!!!!!
The play almost made it into last week's top 10 earners, but Shrek the Musical and The Little Mermaid managed to beat out the Tony award-winning play.
Strangely enough, God of Carnage's all-star cast members, including James Gandolfini and Jeff Daniels, are on hiatus until September 8th.
Those poor tourists!
They probably thought they'd be catching Tony Soprano, live and in the flesh!

There were signs up all over the God of Carnage Theater saying that they were taking a break. I think people probably just like the show.
Next to Normal is also quite amazing. How's that one doing?
It's not just the stars that are on hiatus, the entire show is on hiatus. There won't be anymore performances until september, so its not like people are going to be showing up expecting to see celebrities and then getting someone else, people just won't be showing up because there is no show to see. But we shouldn't expect you to make accurate reports should we perez?
