After serving 20 months in prison for a brutal dogfight scandal, Michael Vick has been conditionally reinstated into the NFL.
The felon can immediately begin attending preseason practices, workouts and meetings along with playing in the final two preseason games, if he can find a team to sign him.
Once the season begins, the bankrupt football player may participate in all team activities except for games, but could play as soon as October.
Do U think he should be allowed back?!

Yes, he served his time and paid the price. I believe that people deserve a second chance. His entrance back into the NFL should be closely monitored and he should be on a 2-year NFL probation. By the way, I've recently (in the last 4 years) rescued two dogs and two cats so animals are a HUGE part of my life. I just believe that he deserves this second chance after serving his time and doing his community service.

I think he should play again. Whats the point of going to jail and serving time when you get out you can never live your life. What about the other football player that murdered someone from drunk driving and he got a few months. What Michael did was horrible but he served his time. I think its bad to be able to kill a human being and still be able to play.
On a side note only like 2 of the dogs had to be put down and some of his former dogs are now therapy dogs for kids to read to and visit people in the hospital. Thanks to the love of many foster families and adoptive parents. They did a cover story on it in sports illustrated w/ like a 5 page article.

Vick was given one of the highest jail time served sentences in the country for what he's done. (Not saying I agree, but give some perspective.) He was slapped with one of the largest, if not THE largest fine in history for his actions. And quite frankly, he wasn't even there most of the time. He's done PSA's - agreed to make sizable donations to animal rights groups and charities, after his fine. I've done volunteer time at the Humane Society, I've adopted others and fostered more. BUT - I was taught forgiveness in remorse. He did his time, he's trying to make amends. I think the contingency for any NFL team be that at least 50% of his salary go to that local teams Humane Society and/or no kill shelters. I'm pretty sure MOST of us here - wouldn't want our lives held in hatred for stupid actions of the past. People actually CAN grow and change.

I am an Atlantan and I would be HUMILIATED if he EVR plays for our team again. It reflects so badly on the NFL and the Falcons. They DO NOT NEED HIM (he was injured and on the d/l about a third of the time when he played anyway). Sports are the one area where kids should have some kind of role model. Just because he was paroled does NOT make him that. If he becomes a Falcon again I will never go to or watch a game again. I do not wish him harm nor do I hate him, but he needs to pay the full price for what he did and part of that should be loss of his NFL salary and career. Period.
