Avril Opens Up About New Album!
Sounds awful!
April Lavigne dropped some deets about her new album, which promises to be the antithesis of the usual pop punk princess.
That's the very brief good news!
"A lot of the songs are mainly the acoustic and my vocal," says Lavigne of the untitled album. "It's a lot different from anything I've done before. It's not a pop rock record. This is more about emotion and feeling."
What does she know about emotion and feeling?!
If it were about pAArtying, then she could write a thesis on it!
Lavigne's troll-like husband, Sum 41 douche Deryck Whibley, produced eight of the 12 tracks on the album and most of the songs Avril wrote herself.
BIG mistake!
She continues, "The first song that I recorded for this record. A lot of people like it. It's kind of like a lullaby."
We're sure it's nothing new!

Her writing the songs on her album shouldn't come as much of a surprise. Avril has been writing her own songs since her first album. Infact, there isn't one song on any of her 3 current albums that doesn't have a writing credit from her on it.
Granted I haven't heard the new sound yet, but I'm not sure how well it's going to be received. Acoustic and her voice seems a little bland…I don't know if her new songs will be very radio friendly.

Well to be honest, Avril made 15 million dollars last year off her records and tours, so she must be doing something right. A friend of mine was involved in the production and he says, it's a very good rock album… let's wait and see..
