Avril Opens Up About New Album!
Sounds awful!
April Lavigne dropped some deets about her new album, which promises to be the antithesis of the usual pop punk princess.
That's the very brief good news!
"A lot of the songs are mainly the acoustic and my vocal," says Lavigne of the untitled album. "It's a lot different from anything I've done before. It's not a pop rock record. This is more about emotion and feeling."
What does she know about emotion and feeling?!
If it were about pAArtying, then she could write a thesis on it!
Lavigne's troll-like husband, Sum 41 douche Deryck Whibley, produced eight of the 12 tracks on the album and most of the songs Avril wrote herself.
BIG mistake!
She continues, "The first song that I recorded for this record. A lot of people like it. It's kind of like a lullaby."
We're sure it's nothing new!

as a Canadian, i used to have mad respect for avril lavigne.. she seemed so real and stayed true to herself. then all of a sudden, she morphed into everything she once said she wouldn't be.. (her style, pop-princess music, etc). that being said, i think her new album sounds awesome. i really hope she can pull it off and rediscover her roots again.. also deryck whitbley is amazing. i wish you'd stop going so hard on him, perez. and for proof, check out With Me - Sum 41. the song was featured on Gossip Girl and is so good!
