Son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal, Redmond, was left a $3 million inheritance when his mother passed away of cancer last month.
The incarcerated drug offender will receive a supervised monthly allowance from a trust fund in hopes of keeping him clean and for the purchase of his own home.
“Farrah appointed two trustees to make sure the money helps her son sober up rather than giving him the means to destroy himself. Redmond’s inheritance will be tightly controlled,” said a source.

Hope he gets better. Sometimes you have to make a conscious effort to get healthy or be normal. I used to rock back & forth in my chair & I tapped my feet on the floor. It was a habit that didn't seem to bother anyone. Then I did some research on autism cuz a friend had it. So I decided not to do those things anymore. I also stopped listening to headbanger music.

Unfortunately the two executors are Richard B. Francis and his son and partner Russell Francis. They are Francis & Associates and have been Ryan O'Neal's business manager for 43 years. So Ryan may get the money anyway! There is a conflict of interest here. If it does not work to Red's advantage he should get a lawyer and sue over conflict of interest. The whole world saw Farrah falling out of a chair, effed up on drugs on national television and daddy Ryan has recently been known to be a user… why would we think that Red has a chance in hell of transcending his parents addictive ways? We can hope… but, really, what are the odds?
He's screwed. It's too late to save this kid. The only way he could have been saved was if Farrah Fawcett had dumped that worthless Ryan O Neal and kept him the fuck away. All but one of Ryan's kids are messed up with drug/alcohol/abuse issues and that was because the one son Patrick, was kept away from his father. All the others were around their dad so that explains everything!
