Ricky Bails On J. Lo

As we mentioned earlier, Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 40th birthday with a surprise party this past weekend at the Edison Ballroom in New York City.
And reports were that the diva was visibly upset at the fact that so many guests showed up late or didn't bother to show up at all.
So now she must be really peeved at this: Turns out Ricky Martin couldn't leave fast enough from the shindig!
According to insiders, Martin got to the party and stayed just long enough to pretend to eat his meal.
After about 30 minutes, the Latin hottie bailed the party to meet up with fashion exec Wilfredo Rosado for dinner in SoHo.
Wonder if the two were just talking "business"?
As for J. Lo, we can only assume her party sucked shitballs.

It's because none of these people really know each other. he was probably paid to be there, or told that it would be good publicity so their reps put it together, he showed up, did what he was paid to do and then left. Just like the rent boys he hires do.

Her party might 'suck shitballs' if you weren't there to celebrate with the hosts, but to just show your face before whisking off to PROMOTE yourself (you, yourself and you) somewhere else. People do this kind of thing all the time. They confirm attendance (the night before) at weddings where you pay by the head for elaborate meals and don't show up at all. Can you say rude and self-absorbed?
