Wintour's Way Is Not Working! Changing It
There are loud whispers that the legendary Vogue is going to "quietly revamp" their image in light of poor ad sales. This year's September issue, traditionally the largest issue of the entire year, is more than a third thinner than in past years as ad sales have dropped a whopping 36% since a year ago. The same issue four years ago set records because it was so large.
Reports say to expect "a new circle of models, an influx of fresh, young photographers, and a desire for 'unpredictablility,' in the stories."
Finally! It's time for the major mag to get a makover. A younger set is now flipping their pages!
It would be great if this actually happened, but we have to wonder, as long as Anna Wintour is running the show, how much can things really change? Bitch is set in her ways!

Every time I see Vogue on the news stand, I think of that disgusting, fur promoting HAG editor, and I reach for a different fashion magazine. They won't get my business while they are an instrument to promote fur. There are a lot of great fashion magazines that don't leave one with blood on one's hands.

It's mostly ads any way. For things most Americans will never buy. And, yes money is a factor. You can go to the library and read the magazine if you must. Yeah, I use to read all that shite. Not anymore. Online is so much better.
The only magazine I will not give up is Architectural Digest. Thank god it was a gift for a year.

I was one of the idiots that spent money on the September issue. Wow, really botox and laser to get rid of wrinkles, the same old story over and over. Im tired of reading about old hags problems with old hag solutions. oh my god, i hate my hair, how i learned to love my hair, omg i have wrinkles, how i got rid of the wrinkles, omg i am fat, how to get rid of the fat. throw in some obscure cultural references and an actress on the cover and were done. its old, its bland, its duh. and ann wintour has no fashion sense so I lost faith in the credibility of the mag.
This is what VOGUE USA needs, an Teen Vogue too!
It's always the same people on the cover - remember, the 60's Vogues had record sales because they featured awesome models, covers that made you stop and stare.
And Teen Vogue? To me it's just like Seventeen but smaller and with expensive clothes! Please! Go back to Karlie Kloss on the covers!
