Is Big Brother UK Coming To An End?

Bad news for the UK's Big Brother.

Seems that after 10 years on air, Channel 4's reality show might be on the edge of extinction.

And this year, with almost two months into the season, the show has already marked the lowest ratings ever since the show began.

In fact, it's only averaging 2 million viewers and is down 33% in its audience share.

But the execs at Endemol UK, who produce the show, insist Big Bro is doing well, especially in other countries like Italy and Argentina.

Paul Johnson, global head of marketing and brand partnerships for Endemol Group, reveals that "You can't use audience averages to work out how the show has done until a season has finished, the audience builds through until the finale. The 'death of Big Brother is written about every year- however the show continues to rate extremely well in the timeslot when compared to the slot average for C4. Big Brother consistently exceeds the slot average for the timeslot on Channel 4. No other show on the broadcaster is on air everyday for 13 weeks."

The only version probably interesting enough to watch would be the Celebrity version of Big Bro.

But even then, it's only Z-Listers on camera trying to act.

Is LOLhan gonna be on it?????

I am telling you now, this is all bull. A lot of people are still watching, you only have to check out Digital Spy forum to realise that! I think it is one of the best BBs for years, I have seen them all!

the only one i ever watched the whole way through was the one with Nikki (WHO IS SHE?!) and Glynn (I'm cooking an egg for the very first time). That was by far the best, every one has paled in comparision since, and i haven't watched it since. it's met it's end i think

BB UK is one of the most entertaining reality shows out there. It's funnier, more intelligent and way more addictive than BB US. Go Siavash and Halfwit!!

I think Big Brother was always going to end after next years one, so Big Brother 11 will be the last one. I think it should have ended ages ago, its so predictable and boring now!

BB can't die its not allowed but apparently Davina is leaving after this series and considering how many people stopped watching bblb after Dermot quit i wouldn't be surprised if people stopped watching it Davina makes big brother, without Davina bb will die such a shame but i suppose she doesn't want to do it for the rest of her life who would
