Miley Cyrus + Zac Efron = Fail!
According to sources Zac Efron and Brittany Snow are being tapped to star alongside Miley Cyrus in a Gidget series remake.
The movie is "envisioned to be the first in a long-line of “Gidget” movies. The musical-comedy will feature popstress Cyrus in the titular role, that of a young girl who discovers surfing and love (in that order) during one transitive summer. Efron is, we suspect, being sought to play the love interest."
No one is confirmed, however, so it's probably just a rumor.

What is worse than remaking the Gidget movies is Miley playing the title role. And plus Gidget is a composite of Girl and Midget, doesn't exactly describe her. No one can ever replace Sandra Dee, well except Deborah Wally.

Ever since Miley announced that she was ending Hannah in 2010, all sorts of things have been coming out that Miley is supposedly "starring" in, but the only one confirmed is that Wings one that was based off a book. The one with Hugh Jackman wasn't confirmed, it was only confirmed that Hugh and Miley were looking into starring in a movie together.
