Ten Fun Facts For Twilighters
Most of us were not fortunate enough to go and see the cast of New Moon in person at Comic-Con this year. It was a shame, especially considering that Rob Pattinson decided to shower for the occasion!
For those of us who were stuck at home while all the madness went down, we came across of list of fun facts compiled about the movies and its stars from people who got to go to Comic-Con.
Here's what we got:
1. The production company, Summit Entertainment, knows you Twilight fans live for the BEEF! CLICK HERE to see what we mean.
2. Most of the dialogue in New Moon was taken straight from the pages of the novel. (No more of this "spider-monkey" crap!)
3. Taylor Lautner stands tall as the flick's media golden boy. Unlike R-Patz and K-Stew, he knows how to work the press and remains charming answering the same mundane questions over and over and over and….
4. Kristen Stewart knows Bella is a whack job in this movie. Whether she found a way to express any kind of emotion to showcase this is yet to be seen.
5. K-Stew also is still a tool when it comes to interviews. When asked how her life is different from last year's Comic-Con, she replied: "I cut my hair off." Thanks for the enlightening contribution!
6. Breaking up is hard to do, but for the Twilight cast, it's their favorite scenes to act in. The Holy Trinity of Twilight all agreed that their favorite scenes were ones in which they broke up or left another character. R-Patz had said: "I think my breakup scene was my favorite scene. I mean, hopefully it'll come off as having quite a few more levels than the relationship in Twilight. It was interesting. It was like a five page long dialogue scene. That didn't happen at all in the first one and it's quite an interesting little moment. It completely bypasses all the supernatural elements of the story as well, which I found quite interesting."
7. K-Stew can't wait to [spoiler alert, if you haven't read the books] be knocked up with a baby vamp in the final movie, Breaking Dawn. In addition, R-Patz can't wait to perform the Cesarian!
8. The director, Chris Weitz, is watching you watching the trailer. If you want him to stop, cease putting up Youtube videos in which you record your reactions to the trailer.
9. Be glad you stayed home if you are a "normal" fan, because thousands upon thousands of screaming Twilighters filled the streets up to two full days before the Comic-Con even started just to get inside.
10. Real geeks hate Twilight and they want you all to never to come to Comic-Con again as evident by the signs many people were carrying saying "Twilight Ruined Comic-Con".

So stop with the snide Robert Pattinson is dirty jabs…gees you are so impolite. No one gets hugged more than he does and the only thing anyone says is that he smells like a pub which is to say cigarettes. I have never seen a photo where he looks dirty…his hair is very gelled sometimes and he does that for effect.
And as for Taylor being charming, he does seem to be sweet but he is soooooo rehearsed and unnatural…he's like a robot spouting propaganda. He should be a Disney clone.

Torn on #2… The book's not all that well written, so the dialogue's not exactly the most stimulating thing in the world. But at the same time, that spider monkey line was absolutely awful.
and K-Stew is a disappointment. Can't she just PRETEND to be interested? She's paid enough…

#3- Taylor Lautner is incredibly charming. He knows how to talk to the media unlike Some people. He's funny and sweet and doesn't act like he's better than everyone else. I love him
#4- You're right. K-Stew can't act to save her life. Example… remember the hospital scene in twilight?? Yeah… point proven
#5- She needs to take some lessons from Taylor. She acts like she is better than everyone and does not know how to answer questions. Who cares if they ask the same questions over and over again? It is part of your job to put up with it and be polite. Don't act like a bitch.

I really try hard to like Kristen in this role because I KNOW she has the ability to be a good actress - she was excellent in Speak and The Cake Eaters. But I will be completely honest and say that I would not be disappointed if they replaced her in the series.
And I tried to think that she was just extremely shy when I watched her being interviewed but after seeing dozens and dozens of them - she is soooo rude and awkward and uncooperative, it's painful to watch. There are plenty of actors who don't like to be interviewed but know it's part of the job. She doesn't have to act like Suzy Sunshine but just acting like a normal, polite human wouldn't kill her.

the rabid twilight girls were out of control !! & yes avoiding Comic COn on Thursday was in order because of this, which is sad as I really wanted to go to the Burn Notice/Psych panels. Next year Maybe Comic Con can move the Twilight panel off site to the Hilton or one of the other movie locations and return Hall H and leave the rest of the convention center to real geeks !!

LOL….!! Taylor is quite media-savvy at the moment, have to agree there. And I just find the whole K-Stew thing at Comic-Con hilarious…the poor darl…she ain't a "tool" per say…just a tool in the mad-world that is Twilight.
I just wish Kristen acted a little more enthused about the movies I mean she had other roles before, but this is her first big time movie that she starring. You would think she would be more grateful for this oppurtunity.
I love the fun facts. But this should have been number 1. #1-Kristen S. looked like shit at Comic Con. #2- Someone should have told her she looked like shit before getting to Comic Con. #3-When she got to Comic Con someone should have told her to act like she cared that she was there. #4-To answer questions with complete sentences and to keep her hands from looking like she was having a seizure. #5,6,7,8,9and 10-Next time..before coming out like that….Stay home. The Twilight Saga and her fans are worth the effort on her part. Anything less…is disrespectful. I know that there are alot of people who love her. And there is nothing wrong with that. But how she presented herself at the press conference was fucked up. All of the other cast members came way better. The only upside to this press conference was that Taylor and Robert looked hot and were funny. So that made it worth the watch!!! Thanks….

I'd really love to know what page the 'spider monkey' reference in the books is on. I've read the book 5 times and don't remember reading it at all. It sounded absolutely absurd in the movie and I'm SO glad they'll be sticking to the book for the dialogue in New Moon.
