Who's leaving? Who's staying?
Word is that despite all the rumors back and forth, Kara DioGuardi will be staying for the ninth season.
A source said, "Her deal is done. There are no ifs, ands or buts. Done. She will be back."
No word yet on Paula's fate, but we expect she will return as well.
Filmed auditions for the next season begin within DAYS!

It's like watching Karaoke, they all suck…
Any one of us could sing like they do if we had professionals coaching us and teaching us how to carry a tune like they do for all those weeks…
Thats why when the show is all over you don't hear from any of them again…
Although I will admit that once in a blue moon someone great like Jennifer Hudson or Ruben comes along..

Personally I liked her last season. I didn't always agree…but who does with any of them? I could also stand to lose Paula. Bitch doesn't contribute anything substantial and the antics between her and Simon are really bugging. Glad to see Kara back though.

YUMMY:) But it's still not reason enough to sit through a couple hours each week having to listen to Abdrool & bubblegum commercials for tweens. The first 3 or 4 years of 'AI was wonderful, but alas it's run it's course and no-longer relevant. The voting system for ‘AI is a FRAUD! Power dialing 3,000-votes a night, I know of a few people who voted that way each week. Voter fraud is why we have an Obamanation / Abomination, and is how so many less than great singers reach the top 24 each season of ‘AI. But do they care? No! They take the voting tallies to the advertisers, and it gives the allusion more are tuning in than really are. I don’t buy it, but the advertisers do and by the final month of shows 30-seconds of commercial time go for about as much as during the Super Bowl. The show is a sham/fake/fraud/no-longer credible. Advise for the next round of shows? At or around the first commercial break, tell Abdrool the bar is closed and cut her off after her first drink. She’s a lightweight (in as far as drinking be my guess/which has nothing to do with what I’ve called her since her video dance numbers back in the 80’s/Paula ‘Pork Abdul). AKA Abdrool

Kara grew on me. She just has to stop with the repetitive comments. I don't think they should continue on with 4 judges. My pick to go would be Randy, he is totally useless, but that is not going to happen. I am ok with Paula out because last seasons she really wasn't very interesting.
