Katherine Jackson Will Get Custody Of MJ's Kids
Katherine Jackson's lawyer, L. Londell McMillan, revealed this morning that the mother of Michael Jackson will be getting custody over her son's three children.
McMillan insists that a truce has been decided upon between Debbie Rowe and Katherine, in which Katherine obtains full guardianship and Debbie will receive no money. It was agreed upon by the two women that Debbie, as the biological mother of the two eldest children, will be given visitation rights, but in no way was her relinquishing of parental rights paid for.
McMillian said in an interview on the Early Show this morning: “It's an agreement, an agreement for the best interests of the children. This is not a money deal. This is not about money. … There is no situation better for these children than for them to be raised and reared in the loving care of Mrs. Katherine Jackson."
We think that is probably for the best, so long as Katherine keeps them away from Joe Jackson.

It's like, the kids are bummed either way… no matter who gets custody. Can't think of a single person in the whole MJ thing who would the kids be well with. Maybe Angelina & Brad should apply >_
Thank God!! Since she said on INTERNATIONAL NEWS that just because she gave birth to the kids, that doesnt make her a mother. Mothering/parenthood is a process and she hasnt been around. She got paid to give birth to the kids and to not interwene in their lives.

I'm glad Katherine is getting the children. And hopefully either Janet or Rebbie gets them if anything should happen to her. But why is Debbie getting visitation rights? She never visited them before.
plus.. Im so glad they agreed on a settlement and didnt take this to court. The media would have loved a custody battle. That would be very harmful for the kids.

Hopefully this is the FINAL decision on the matter of who'll be raising the 3 children, but I doubt it. Who's going to take them when Katherine dies or is no longer able to care for them? Diana Ross??? She's no "spring chicken" and certainly NOT a good role model for three impressionable young kids…

Debbie didn't "relinquish of parental rights" Not having custody does NOT mean you give up your rights - as we've already seen with Michael having custody. She has visitation because Debbie didn't expect Michael to die before the children were grown. She thought they'd always have Michael to love them and parent them. Now, they will get attached to Katherine but it is probable that she may die before they are adults so Debbie wants to make sure she can be there for them ir or when this happens. They had a parent, Michael) but now they have no parent (that they are familar with).
Look, reality is many many children are raise in one parent households. There are also surogates who give others children for a fee. No one is ostracizing them. You don't think Sarah Jessica Parker's new twins suragate did that for free??
Debbie was MARRIED to Michael for 3 years and carried and delievered TWO children to Michael. They divorced and he paid her alimony of maybe ONE percent of his worth. Now who in Hollywood can get away paying that small of alimony? Name just one. The children lived with the person who had the ability and desire to raise, educate and protect the children.
People give their children up for adoption in this country every day. No one thinks of them as "trash".
She got ALIMONY People……… Give it a break.
She has been quite and never bad mouthed.

amazing, same picture, but the story was Rebbie gets the kids. Anyhoo, doesn't matter what Jackson gets them, they are going to be 3 of the most screwed up kids in the world. Really hope family court orders an overseer for the kids and orders therapy for them. also find it amazing that 'blanket' was a black market baby and Nothing is being said or done.
