Even though Susan Boyle is currently residing in London, SuBo refuses to let go of her old home!
Boyle's older brother, Gerry, says that the Britain's Got Talent runner-up is spending her newfound $$$$$$$ to purchase the West Lothian, Scotland, house she's lived in all her life.
SuBo was even born there!!!
"Susan walked into the local council office and told them that although she was living in London, she didn't want them to rent her house to anyone else," says Gerry.
The community of West Lothian were "shocked" that Susan showed up to the office herself, but they let the budding singing sensation know they weren't planning on renting the home to any other tenants.
In fact, council members are currently seeking a way to honor their hometown hero, according to a spokesman from the West Lothian Council.
"Our provost Tom Kerr is keen to sit down with Susan and discuss ways to recognize her achievement," states the council's spokesman.
How about a giant SuBo statue erected in the middle of the town???
