Sports Reporter Gets Nabbed For Organizing Prostitution Ring!

We find it so interesting that it is always the conservative folk who tend to do the naughtiest things!
A sports writer for New Hampshire's Union Leader was arrested yesterday for allegedly conducting a prostitution ring through Craigslist!
See, you really can get anything on that website!
The gentleman, Kevin Provencher, apparently has been running the operation in nearby Massachusetts, where he had hired, through Craigslist, about five women, two of which who are already slated to testify.
After putting the girls through an "audition" (you need to drive the car yourself before you buy it), he worked through websites likebackpage.com, cityvibe.com and theeroticreview.com to recruit clients. He would then rent out rooms at local hotels for weeks or months at a time, claiming to the management that "his wife or girlfriend" was staying their while he was at work.
When employees of one hotel caught on to his game, they alerted the police, who surveillanced the area and apprehended several clients for questioning. One of the officers on the scene that day "could clearly hear activities consistent with sexual intercourse.”
As of now, Mr. Provencher has been charged with two felonies and if convicted, he faces a prison term of five years and a $5,000 fine on each charge.
It should be comforting for him to know that at least his place of employment stands behind him… kind of. The management of the Union Leader released this statement: “Mr. Provencher has been a valued employee for many years. He is innocent until proven guilty. However, given the nature and seriousness of the charges, he is suspended until further notice.”
Ha! So much for camaraderie.

whatta dumbass
Everyone should start their own business and hide as much money from the government as possible because they are going to mismanage it anyway and then cry poor.
old news for the locals.
Thanks for making the granite state proud.
I am glad that the first story on PerezHilton.com about my state has to be some really messed up one. *sighs*
HA! 'LET YOUR FINGERS DO THE WALKING…"
Ummm, Perez, check your grammer……4th paragraph, last sentence, it's THERE not THEIR…..dumbass!!!!!!!!
Legalize and tax it!
At what point does he say he's a conservative??
Not content to earn a modest second income selling Amway or Tupperware after hours, the protagonist allegedly cultivated his second income with a 21st century approach to the world's oldest profession.
I think that as a sports reporter, he just really likes yelling 'HE SCORES!'…
Two words. . . victimless crime!
there's a lot of this kind of stuff going on in cow hampshire–they just don't broadcast it to the world like everyone else–thus they are "conservative"
does the government not have bigger issues to worry about AND spend money on? who cares if someon pays to get off, it only an issue because they aren't taxing it. I say leagalize it along with WEEEDDDDD!
not
zurprized….
heard on the newz 2/nite
that the govt. iz broke…
even with the stimuluz….
whooohooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
O_o Wow, I can't believe his employer is taking his side! Most places would quickly distance themselves and curse the day they ever hired you. I find it interesting that they would stick up for this guy. Does that mean they condone his activities? It sounds like it. There's no such thing as "innocent until proven guilty" (in a court of law). Frankly, the "proof" if that it's already been reported what he was arrested for and that cops witnessed it. Proof enough for me!! Trials in the news are quicker than in the courts, you know
oh come on!! it was little girls! they were playing!! give the guy a break!
What does "FML" mean?
News biz is hurting.
Since he knew about balls the rest was easy.
