Katherine Jackson And Debbie Rowe Speak

So Debbie Rowe and Katherine Jackson have come to an agreement regarding Michael Jackson's children.
According to Rowe's attorney, "The parties engaged in a dignified discussion that resulted in a dignified outcome. The sole consideration between the parties was the best interests of the children. I'm proud to have worked with such professionals who represented Ms. Jackson, and I am particularly proud of Deborah for her integrity and selflessness."
Jackson's lawyer made a similar statement, saying, "Mrs. Jackson and the family are pleased this matter is resolved and was handled in a caring, thoughtful and courteous manner by the parties and their representatives. We were all united in our goals to do what is best for Michael's wonderful children, and both Mrs. Jackson and Debbie Rowe were on the exact same page. Accordingly, although important issues had to be resolved, this was no legal contest but rather simply a process doing the right thing for the right reasons."
According to the agreement, Jackson is granted sole custody of the children and Rowe shall exercise visitation rights with Prince and Paris, the timing of which shall be scheduled to the best interest of the kids and determined by a jointly selected and jointly funded child psychologist. Rowe will continue to receive spousal support payments.

As long as you keep Joe out of it, it can be drama free. Thank goodness these ladies kept it cool and dignified for the sake of the children.
Oh Yeah!! The kids get to be raised by a tired old, 79 years old grandma (who will probably demand lots of money for nannies, shelter, food, clothing, etc), while they get to visit with their real mom once a month, along with a few visits with a shrink.
Enough about the Jackson case!!! Did we all forget that he was a pervert and child molester???
This was the best possible outcome for all……..hopefully it will shut up the haters, who for some reason, are angry with surrogate moms……it's an irrational hatred that I don't understand.

Of course it was drama free! The only people creating drama betwee the Jackson family and Debbie Rowe was the MEDIA!!!!!! Didn't anyone see the interview Debbie gave years ago. She flat out said those were MICHEAL'S KIDS and she gave them to him as a gift. The only reason she is in there now is because she gave birth to them and their dad died. She is still related to them no matter what piece of paper she signed and how much money she got along with it.

SELFLESSNESS???? Please….she's wants nothing to do with these children. Never has…Parenthood is very hard work…that's why she had no PART of it in 12 years. Now she wants to be seen as the loving, compassionate, caring person who only has thoughts of her kids? PLEASE….All she cares about is making sure that the money she will continue to get from MJ's estate isn't wasted on her children. Rowe has the best of both worlds…..Talk about WHORE!!!!!

It would be nice if she could take the kids out to her ranch for visits a couple of times a month, but don't count on it. There was no civility at all on the part of Katharine's attorneys. They are shit.
I hate how the media is kind of praising Rowe for not asking for more money, when actually she is just making sure her spousal support payments continue. What a bitch!!

Re: brainchild – I was raised by an 80 year old grandmother and grandfather and to this day I am so glad i was raised by them and not my parents. Was it challenging at times? absolutely, but in the long run a challenge like that was better for me and my long term success and happiness. grandparents raising their grandchildren is growing at an alarming rate. please do not judge this situation if you have no idea about how it works. This is actually an important issue that the government needs to look at. My grandparents were offered 0 from the government even though they were not even remotely rich but yet dead beat parents can get more money from the government than u can even imagine.
I agree grandparents can be great parents to their grandchildren. They have the previous experience and are able to exercise patience when a new parent might not be able to be. When a parent's not available to take care of a child another family member especially a grandparent is a great option. My only question is why does Debbie still get spousal support after a nearly $20 mm settlement?
I think Debbie is awsome!! No one should be judging her or saying that she sold her kids. Women are surogates everyday and they don't make news because they weren't doing it with Michael Jackson. I think he was wise in chosing her and she has never asked for more than the original deal.
thank god this was settled fast. that was good of debbie to do this. it was very unselfish of her. she is a nice lady. with vistitation rights the kids will have a good friend to give them riding lessons. the kids need alot of friends right now.

Re: ski chick – you are a moron. Don't believe everything you read in the gossip rags. All the boy's family cared about was money. The boy's father didn't care about his own son. The father sued his own son for some of his money that he got from Jackson. That doesn't sound like guilt to me.
I'm glad Debbie Rowe will have some kind of relationship with her children, and I am also glad that the children will stay with their grandmother. Mrs. Jackson has had a relationship with those children their whole lives, and it just makes sense that they stay with her.
