Macca's Farewell Tour!!!

Oh no!
Paul McCartney is setting out on a world tour next year aimed at performing in venues foreign to the music legend.
Locations being discussed are China's Tiananmen Square and the area surrounding Berlin's Checkpoint Charlie and several dates in Brazil.
The reason for the exotic locations is that this tour will be his last, according to reports!!!
The 70-year-old star is ready to give up life on the road.
"Paul wants to go out with a bang," claims a source. "He's played countless stadiums over his 50-year career and is on the hunt for the most unusual locations he can find. He realizes that the older he gets, the less his body will be able to cope with the demands of extended periods on the road."
But, don't worry!!! Sir Paul will still play the occasional show, but it may take the likes of President Obama or the Queen to get him there.
We'll be sad to see him retire, but what a way to go!!!

Re: SheriMoonFireFly – what are you, 12? i saw Paul McCartney in concert a few weeks ago and he played for 3 hours and rocked the hell out of Halifax. he barely broke a sweat and his voice was amazing through the whole show. most of the "young" bands i've seen in the past couple of years played for 90 minutes MAX and can barely get through their set without having issues with their voice and are so winded by the end they can hardly walk off the stage, and hardly can make it through ONE encore. Paul did 3 and was just as full of energy at the end of the 3rd as he was when he first came out on stage.
Paul McCartney is 67 years old, and is one of the most prolific and successful songwriters in popular music history, still going strong after 50 years performing. you think even 1/4 of the half-retarded idiots making "music" now will still be performing 50 years from now? yeah, probably not.

Ok Perez firstly you got his age wrong he is 67 I too had the same feeling this was his last tour, however being a huge Beatle's fan this isn't exactly true. Macca told the Washington Post that he had thought about retiring but he loves touring so much. I too need to update this tibit on my own blog!! Lucky effer you got to interview and meet Macca @ Them awards in Liverpool!!! I just saw Paul two weeks ago in Citi Field it was good and bad.. security sucked the 2nd night see my second post on my blog!~ Im off to see him in Texas next if I can get a ticket!!
