Beautiful. I love Kate Bush. I love that song. All humans struggle running up that hill. All humans would love to make a deal with god. Little Boots should record that, too bad no one will like it, cause it doesn't jump out and grab you with sex or violence. It's quiet melancholy is only understood through inner contemplation. Something very few of you do.

I used to listen to the original on cassette tape when it was first released, as a teen. I think Little Boots did a lovely job. It's not a studio cover - so there's only so much one can do just off the cuff. It's really nice for what it's meant to be.

Perez, if you want to hear a really amazing cover of Running Up That Hill, check out PLACEBO. You might even take a liking for them. But really, check out PLACEBO's cover. Seriously, it was the first song of theirs that I heard and I immediately fell in love with them. I'm not bashing this chick's cover, but really Placebo's is amazing.

Sweet! That brings back memories. The kid's good, she kept performing even while the phone was ringing and barely missed a note.
For the people who say her performance sucked, it is meant to be raw and unfinished and gives you the feeling of being in the room with her. If that isn't your thing, fine.
Music is headed in a more performance oriented direction; the public is sick and tired of the fembots.
