The mother of Law's fourth child is having to do some major damage control due to comments her own mother released to the media!
Wannabe Samantha Burke's mom, Lea Burke, slammed Law's fatherly instincts to reporters recently, saying Jude "didn't want the baby" and that her daughter "was in shock when she found out she was pregnant and was terrified to tell him."
Lea continued: "It would be nice if the father was around but that's not going to happen because of his job and Samantha knows that."
Straight and to the point!
Sam flipped her shiz upon hearing her mom's comments and immediately released a statement on her own behalf, claiming the media spun Lea's story.
It reads:
Samantha and her mother would like to be clear that comments attributed to her mother and media stories reported in the last 24 hours regarding Jude's contact with Samantha and his involvement were taken out of context. Samantha, her mom and her family can confirm Jude has been responsive and supportive through the relationship and pregnancy and know that he will remain so as a father once baby Sophia is born. Jude and Samantha remain commited to the health and wellbeing of this child and appreciate your honouring her privacy during this special time.
We highly doubt those quotes were taken "out of context"!
More like 'someone' doesn't want to piss off the very wealthy babydaddy!

I will bet a thousand bucks that he is not the father of this baby. I'm not even sure she's pregnant, she just looks fat. she is a typical, low down, gold digging groupie hoping for a f**k trophy. She has no dignity, no class and will end up on the streets with a sad, sad story.

I don't believe all this make-up stories, but I just wonder why this guy always get so much attention on everything he did, and hated so easily by people. I think the world have just so much expectation from an Englishmen. If he is an American or Aussie would he be treated like this? If he haven't done films like Alfie and widely regarded as sex symbol would he be treated like this? Come on! I think he really have great EQ when at this point he still haven't got crazy and mad like Spears did year back! She knew exactly who Jude Law was when she had a 2 night stand with him. She wanted to raise her profile (did anyone know who she was before Jude)?Why should she be entitled to a percentage of his future earnings in addition to child maintenance arrangements??? All the vitriolic comments I've read on this site and others about Jude Law…well she's a 24yr old woman not some sweet 15yr old church-going virgin - maybe her family should have raised her with morals and self respect so that she didn't spread her legs. Of course Jude should have insisted on using protection but it's too late for that now. He'll be paying for this indiscretion for the rest of his life whilst she's laughing all the way to the bank.
So what if she had to go through his people to let him know she was pregnant. That's what happens when you have a one(or more) night stand with someone. I think she is def out for what ever she can get from him, I mean really, who has a press conference with her Lawyer to confirm who the baby daddy is????
