Reality Couple Welcome Daughter
Survivor and Amazing Race stars Rob and Amber Mariano have welcomed a daughter into the world!
Lucia Rose was born on the Fourth of July in Florida. The name Lucia is a tribute to the baby's paternal grandmother, who happened to die on the same date.
Amber first appeared on Survivor in 2001 and Rob first appeared on the show a year later. The couple met on an all stars version of the show wherein Rob proposed to Amber.
They later went on to compete in The Amazing Race twice and then starred in their own show, Rob and Amber: Against the Odds.
Rob said, "Lucia is a great eater and sleeps a lot, however she tends to be a bit of a night owl like her daddy at times. She is a perfect baby and we could not have asked for anything more. We are over the moon with happiness at her arrival!"

Oh God, I hated them on the Amazing Race. They kept braging about how they were on the cover of a magazine in Africa, for Gods sake IT WAS AN AMERICAN MAGAZINE!
I just hope Rob has become less of a douche by time, otherwise I feel bad for the kid.
"Five minutes in the spotlight" certainly changed their looks. They were both totally obnoxious but refreshingly natural when they appeared on "Survivor". Now both Amber and Rob look like Hollywood mannequins…
Perhaps they should take their new kid and do another Reality show.

What happened to their game show they were going to do? I would love to see them on the 10th Anniversary edition of Survivor and Rob would be perfect for next years Celebrity Apprentice
aww i'm soo happy for them! loved amber from suvivor outback and was so happy when she won all-stars. it's funny how a non-dating realty show produced a legit couple.
