Candy Spelling Keeps Talking About Tori!!!

This woman is quite the hypocrite!!!
Since drafting a scathing letter to her daughter Tori via internet, Candy Spelling is now changing her tune!
She may have referred to her grandkids, Liam and Stella, as Tori's reality show props, but she has managed to air enough dirty laundry of her own!
In the finale of Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, Tori divluges, "I'm mad at myself. I'm mad that I actually got sucked back into holding out hope once again after 36 years."
And when Candy doesn't show up to Stella's birthday party, hubby Dean McDermott adds, "I told you so. I know that's a (expletive) thing to say. Nothing good could have come from inviting your mother."
In her defense, the party was being filmed for a reality show!
Candy says there's one reason why the two never speak, "My daughter doesn't like the telephone. She doesn't answer. I text her. I have left messages. I've e-mailed her, and she doesn't respond."
Although she has never met Stella and seen Liam a handful of times, Candy wrote a letter to them in her book, Candyland, stating:
"They are living a different life than my children lived as they grew up, and I wanted them to know some of how their mother grew up, and some of our wonderful memories. I don't really know what she tells her children about me, and it was important for me to say something positive to them that someday they may read. I'm hoping that someday they see a different side than what they may have been told."
Not if they ever decide to use the internet!!!
Still, Candy claims she will never stop trying to reconcile, "It could be years of disappointment. Maybe someday she'll get it. She's my daughter. I may not approve of everything she does, but I love her."

What is with those two? Dysfunction at its highest level. I get this feeling Candy only understands conditional love and wants the relationship on her terms. Is it just me or is Candy jealous of her daughter?

To blame her for her fathers death Publicly or Privately is reprehensible and to continue to say she wants to see the grandkids but not on camera in the press proves to me that Tori is probably quite justified in her feelings towards her. Candy should spend a little less time writing internet messages and books and a little more time engaging in acts of unconditional love to her Grandkids and Child. The more this women speaks the more she confirms that unless the relationship is on her terms and benefits her needs she ahs no use for anyone. Apparently this extends to her flesh and blood !!

I love that she keeps trying to emphasize how old Tori is. She made sure to say "36 years" in this statement and called her "middle-aged" in the last one. Ha! Give it up, Candy - Tori may be 36, but she'll always be younger than you, you old twat!!!
Honestly? Who doesn't show up, for their kids, or grandkids birthday? Just put on a happy face for the kids, and spend time with them.
They both act like idiots….I've watched the show and everytime Tori brings up her mother she completely plays the victim role and I think it is for sympathy. (Boo hoo my mommy doesn't love me like my daddy loved me boo hoo). I don't know what sympathy she will get from viewers. Children will do that to their parents at any age and Candy will not give in to her daughter childish behavior. Candy will stand her ground even if it means not seeing her grandchildren.

Sorry, but I think that Candy was right not showing up for "reality show". It was done for ratings and not anything else. Poor little rich girl Tori should grow up and stop blaming her mother for everything wrong in her life. And the first order of business shoud be to dump the hangers on, start with her husband. What a useless sack of crap. If he keeps Tori away from Mama, he can keep controlling her. God, mother and daughter should both just shut up, wither leave each other alone, or go meet somewhere alone. With no one else around and stop complaining and whining.

If you ask me, they need to invest getting mental therapy, or better yet…. find religion in their life, so that maybe they can accept what they cannot change and move the hell on!!!!
Tell you what leave each kid about 5 million a piece in a Trust Fund and see how fast Tori comes around. I mean that in a good way. The woman is not getting any younger. She needs to see those children so they know WHO SHE IS. Then they can make up their own minds later. Cash talks. Especially, if it's for the children only!

I watched the first part of the season finale of Tori and Dean, and they hardly mention Candy at all. It's those awful teasers and commercials that make a big deal about it. They show Tori being happy that her mom RSVP'd saying she would come. I don't remember the exact quote, but Candy's text sound pretty positive that she would come. Then she doesn't show up? Are we supposed to believe that Candy didn't know Stella's first birthday party would be filmed for their TV show when Candy received and accepted the invite? Of course she knew! She didn't show up at the last minute to hurt Tori.

If I remember correctly, Candy's first open letter was released right before the first part of the finale, and now this is now on Perez right before part two airs. Narcissists like Candy CAN'T STAND if their children get more attention then they do.
Tori if you read this I also have a mother that is the same as yours . I cried when she did not come to my graduation from school ,I cried when she did not come to my bridal shower or baby shower or the birth of my first daughter my second daughter and finally my son , I also watched the door in hopes of her being there she would say she was coming but would never show.
My friends were my family and my kids adore me because they know I truly love them and would be anywhere they needed me to be they are my life . My girls and my son are so close and I can tell you love your children so much . Dean is right he is trying to protect you my husband did the same and my friends. You come to a point and say enough and you focus on your family and enjoy life I tried so much I cried after every event..Everyone would ask did your mom come for Christmas ? no.did she see the new babies ? no.The grand kids birthdays graduations first steps no. we rarely talk she has no reason for this she has no drinking drug or any other problem never has she is a selfish woman who thinks I owe her for giving me life and she can hurt me whenever she wants to.I wish I knew you but when I watched the show I cried for you because it is my life only in Jersey. I would hug you and tell you to move on love your children and husband. My children are my life and I would do anything for them do not become so consumed with your moms rejection look at your children and be happy.

Is that a light or two coming on? It looks like a bit of an 'a ha' here to me. Candy's statement 'I may not approve of everything she does, but I love her.' That is something.
the light will really come on once Candy gets to that point where she realizes that she only has approval over the things she does in her own life, and that Tori, a full grown family woman, has to be the one to have approval over HER own life. It's not up to Candy to approve. That ended when Tory turned 21. It's a much different world to live in now, and Tori lives as her generation lives, as so she should. Tori doesn't have the luxury of living by her Mom's standards in today's world, plus she has the right to be her own self, and learn by making her own successes and mistakes.

Invite them formally in writing to a nice dinner on your dime.
First, a good restaurant, no kids. A couple weeks later, Sunday dinner at your house, bring the kids. Stop the chatter and just make it happen. If they don't show up the first time, well, they owe you one. Keep asking.
