Dueling Covers! Michael Vs. Farrah
Both Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett will be featured on the cover of the September issue of Vanity Fair, with Fawcett gracing half of the covers and Jackson featured on the remaining 50%.
The issue will be hitting newsstands on August 11th, but excerpts from both features have been released to the press. The articles touch on key themes from the two late superstars' lives, pieced together through quotations from friends and old sound bites from the celebs themselves.

It shifted 151,000 copies according to Nielsen Soundscan. He also had 2 other titles in the top 5 (Thriller & Essential). He had 7 entries in the top 20 which is incredible for the fifth week after his death. This does not include digital downloads or DVD sales, which if included take his total unit sales this week in the US well over 900,000! Also, just in: Michael Jackson will have the #1 album in the US next week AGAIN! His Number Ones album will shift an estimated 120,000 copies to remain in the top position. This is incredible, as next week will mark the 5th time in history an album in the Top Pop Catalogue/Comprehensive albums chart has outsold the #1 album in the Billboard 200 chart.
