Looks like Janet Jackson is ready to come swinging back into the public's eye again!
She's not only relaunched her website, but she's got a couple projects in the works.
Miz Jackson has a booking coming out which will provide "an intimate look at her life and how she has dealt with issues of self-esteem" along with a role in the sequel Why Did I Get Married Too.
But more importantly, she has a new album slated for release in the first quarter of 2010!
Glad to see she's gotten over that vertigo.
Only good things from here we hope.

She seems to have gotten over her brothers death pretty fast! I really don't think they had that much contact towards the end. Anyway, I really don't care for her too much so I could care less what she is planning.

My mom died back in October. I was pretty much over the whole 'omg my moms gone' a week later. Dont get me wrong..I still miss her to this day but lingering on it isnt going to bring her back. Death is just another part of life.
I dont hold anything against her for getting back out there! If anything itll help her take her mind off loosing him.

Re: DebDebs – Its been over a month since MJ past. How long do you want her to stay hidden. A month is a good enough time to be mourning and out of the public eye. Unlike her brothers and sister Latoya they were all over the media trying to get attention and profit from his death. Janet has been pretty sane in the situation and has taken time to herself like a normal person would.
Yay! Looking forward to a new album. And apparently she is back to working with Jimmy Jimmy & Terry Lewis again! Looking forward to a return to greatness! (And for the people saying it's too soon after MJ's death — Jimmy Jam has been talking about their work on this album since last spring — check YouTube)

I wish her lots of luck on her next album! I haven't bought one of hers since her velvet rope one and it would be cool if she'd stay away from the overtly sexual material and sing more personal/reflective songs and had some good music. Mostly though, I just hope it does better than her previous work. She's Janet, she's gotta be at the top again!

People back off! You don't know her life and thoughts. This is all probably another way to cope or distract herself from his death.
when a family member of mine dies, i might stop my life for a week or two to grieve and get to their affairs in order. she has to move on, besides i think her and her mother have been the only members of that family to conduct themselves with dignity through this whole thing.
it doesn't take long to get over a death it might sound bad but life goes on i lost my niece my granddad who was like my father and both of my grandmas a week apart one of them who raise me from birth i've moved with in a week or two after their deaths it doesn't take long trust me life goes on

She looks great!!! Im sure she is still grieving over MJ, but there is nothing she can do now, it is what it is… Life does go on and you have to make the most of it while you are still here on planet Earth. She is getting on with her own life and that's what she should do!!!

Had her and the family been out crying in front of the cameras people would have said they were looking for publicity etc. It's a catch 22 for their family.

Janet was very much upset about Michael's death. On the BET she had to be helped off. I really felt for her. Everyone grieves in different ways. I lost my Aunt to Cancer last month. Yet, I still think of her but I have to go on. And,
so do life. I believe in god and I know she is in a better place. And so is Michael. JMO!

The person next to her is a person part of Brunei's royal family. They have always been such a big fan of MJ, in fact for the Sultan's 50th birthday, MJ preformed in the country to celebrate it.
