Mr. Belding Gets Bent Out Of Shape
When you're the principal of a fictional television high school class, you're often the butt of many jokes.
But the actor who played Mr. Belding on Saved by the Bell, Dennis Haskins, did not take too kindly to his exclusion from the recent People reunion.
He called into a Detroit radio show to "voice his displeasure," adding, "If anybody deserved to be on that cover, it was Dennis Haskins."
Someone's living in denial.

really i have to agree with you for once he really wasnt that important on save by the bell smh lol who he though he was !!!
hahahahahahaha i still cant get over that some people got nerves lol talk about a big ego
who the fuck's the dude with the glasses?! i don't remember him…
LOL! I don't even remember Mr. Belding and I used to watch that show religiously!
ok i changed my mind i dont care no more about this s*** even thou he has a big ego smhx3
dont even remember him..
Okay whatever, but WHO is that doofus in the background who looks like Bob Saget???
hahahaha what a moron
he was the most important character on that show
The dude with the glasses is the owner of The Max - the diner they all hung out at.
And LMAO @ Dennis Haskins…did he really third person himself?
aww they should have included him…
: (
Mr. Belding is a MASSIVE creeper. He came to my college a few years back and hit on pretty much every girl on campus. Kept asking where all the parties were. So sketch. A totally vile dude and I wouldn't exactly miss him if he disappeared from the public eye for good (which is kinda what he's already done anyway!).
he didnt miss anything… that "article" was not worth the $3.
Re: bonita_applebum16 – That's Max. He owned the food place " The Max" where they went to like everyday. I watch the re-runs on TBS lol.
This is a joke, right? How can you NOT include Mr. Belding in a SBTB reunion? That's just ridiculous.
i agree he should have been on it…but uhh, MR. BELDING, if anyone should have been on the cover, it's mark paul gosselaar not you
Belding should have been in there before Lark Voorheis for sure.
He was pretty important.
WTF STUPID FUCKHEAD LOL
WHO'S THE GUY WITH THE GLASSES
Hey, did anyone happen to see the pic of what "Mr. Belding", looks like today? Damn, that man is old az dirt.
Fuck all of you who agree with Perez that Belding was not important to the show. However, I agree that the article was a huge disappointment, way too short. And for those who claim to have watched the show but don't know who the guy in the glasses is, you are a fucking liar, you never watched the show and you don't know shit so shut the fuck up.
WTF how can you guys say you watched Saved by the Bell when you don't even know who Max is?!?!?!?! And there's no reunion without Mr. Belding….I need to hear him say "Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! What is going on here!?!"…just one last time lol
I'm sure he was joking
Michael Jackson always attractived more people's attention, after he death, more rumors come out ,I strongly suggest you view more details at ** biguklove. c O m ** where you can find me and many handsome black and white men, where I'm waitting for my right
I don't remember the guy with the glasses at all.
Max was there for two seasons - Dennis Haskins was there when it was Good Morning Miss Bliss on Disney, and stayed for the spin offs. Half the shows were the kids screwing with the principal… it was wrong to exclude him. Screech is a douche now of course, but Belding hasn't done anything really but karaoke. If anyone could credibly sell the kids out, it'd be him.
Excluding him would be like excluding Feeny from a Boy Meets World reunion. Granted, Feeny is much better IMO, but still. He had his place, and deserved a little something in the reunion pages.
Someone I know used to work at the bar where he hangs out, apparently he is a dirty old drunk now.
Angus8: are you serious??
Lisa was a main character; one of the "group". You obviously didn't watch much of the show. I love Mr. Belding but I don't think he needed to be on the cover. I just don't see how you can say that out of all of the characters she deserved to be there the less. I mean, unless you are referring to the fact that she is black. And no, I'm not saying this b/c i'm black because I'm not actually. The only person missing was screech, but he became such a screw-up that it's better he wasn't there at all.
i hope he was joking, if not, he needs a reality check in the form of a fist up his ugly ass
it was a class reunion, not for the teachers.
Re: DJMcNasty – But then, whose class? Mario wasn't there the whole time, Kelly wasn't… Jessi wasn't and her and Lisa but skipped out of the college years… right or wrong - Mr. Beldings was a staple and that show would not have worked without him or Zack. Period. Hell, even Tiffani was gone for a season (remember Tori). Then next season, Tori spelling was a member. The constant? Zack and Belding. After Zack went to college, Belding was still at high school going on with the show until that ran out.
Seriously. Ask him what he's doing these days. Umm, August 7th — appearance at the West Virginia Power Park (minor league baseball team in WV). Really? Come on.
I think he deserved to be featured… he played an important role on that show and the once all the originals left…I guess he just ain't pretty enough…
Pretty sad if this is the only thing he has to cling onto in life
Starting to not care about the SBTB reunion shit, although Fallon had a couple good skits with Zack and Slater. You'd think they could just be normal people and chill.
