Looks like millions of you are really interested in The Gosselins!
In fact, over 4 million people tuned in last night for the first episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8 since the show went on hiatus on June 22, when the couple announced that they were getting divorced.
This represents a significant jump from preceding half-hour episodes of the TLC reality show.
Wonder if the ratings will stick.
Will U continue to watch Jon & Kate as the season progresses? Or are U losing interest?

I wanted to see if it was half an hour of advertisements like it normally is. I felt bad for Kate though. It was sad. She seemed really lonely.

I would for sure watch this show if I could afford cable. Nothing beats good reality tv that involves a broken home.
The 2 of them are stupid-asses…the only one i ever watched was the very first one, when they were still real people and kate wasn't yet laying claim to her t-boz haircut…the show should be cancelled, but i guess TLC doesn't have any TLC for these kids lives……

I will watch when Jon's not on. Kate seemed happier. She had been so sad before the split.
I hardly watched it before all of this…would stumble on it from time to time and thought that kids were cute and the parents well…he's a mumble mouthed passive agressive dink and she's a controlling bitch. but now…sure I actually tune in on purpose now. it's much more compelling knowing all we know.

Kate's a nurse (with a degree from some dinky community college but whatever…let's call her a "nurse") so she must have known that just having given birth to twins (via fertility measures) made all her female bits over stimulated such that it was HIGHLY PROBABLE that should she seek pregnancy via the same method again…she would have multiples.
That's right Kate KNEW that going in for this treatment again would guarantee her mutliples - so her statement at the beginning of the show "Oh we just wanted one more" is A COMPLETE LIE. She knew she would have multiples.
In this era of overpopulation, what kind of narcissistic bitch is not happy with the two twins she already has at home (conceived via fertility treatments) that she must go back for MORE MULTIPLES??!! It's not like they can afford to support them and/or look after them on their own. They need "helpers" and a TV show to support them. And after that ends, they will need your tax dollars to help them.
It's RIDICULOUS and IRRESPONSIBLE to birth a litter of kids via artificial means especially when you already have twins at home.
WTF are they thinking? What is so great about their trashy genes that they want to procreate like cockroaches??!! That biatch Mady is not enough? They decided to have six more? DISGUSTING.

i actually like this show…its sad things have turned so bad but its there lives and the kids are just adorable!!
I tried watching it since all the drama started, but I still find the show boring as shit. Watching people remodel a kitchen? Then a mini-interview where Kate describes in boring detail how she pushed the kids on swings or fed them popsicles. Snooooooooore.
I never had any intrest to start with. If I want to see a bunch of screaming brats being raised by idiots I'll just mosey down to Wal-Mart

I like the show, but I have always admired Kate much more than John. He just seems self obsessed and not really interested in the kids on a daily basis. He will probably be a terrific week-end father. If he only has to deal with his kids two week-ends a month, he will probably spoil them rotten while they are with him

Honestly, I stopped watching their show after all this news broke out. I have watched like a half of one of their 09 shows. The only reason I watched their show in the first pace was bc I thought it was so sweet how they were w/ their kids and even though they fought they still stuck it out for the kids. After you can make it through 6 nursig babies.. how can u not make it through nething? guess not lol- now they're both just fame whores!

I'm getting to like Kate. Ya she was a control freak - but she was a nurse and then had so many kids. She could have used a nicer voice, but both those jobs need co-ordination. She's been the mature one in the split and seems happier. I'm not impressed with Jon and his cars and girls and bars. What is it with guys and young women?
I give kate alot of credit i could not immagine taking care of those kids and jon should go jump off a cliff WAY TO GO KATE
The only reason I watched was to see how high up Kate's belly button was actually reconstructed.

i will always watch the show! its my favorite and regardless what happens with the parents, the kids are funny and what they do is fun to watch and see
