      Justin was great in Alpha Dog and Black Snake Moan, both awesome movies, but every other movie he did sucked - and this looks absolutely hideous. He's so hit or miss.

      I think this looks cute, so I'll check it out. I don't bother going to the movies, I just wait until it comes out on video and watch it on my big screen at home. It's much easier to watch a movie when you can pause it to pee. :)

      he's playing himself .. i love justin, but he's not acting. i dont get the sense of him becoming another character, its justin timberlake through and through, his laugh/the way he talks/his "cool-ness"…id love to see him just completely let go of his boyish charms and play real life. i dont think he knows what realness is ..with all that said id prlly still go see it just cuz im a 21 year old female who grew up in love with him since nsync, i think thats his only audience that will give a shit enough to go see him.. hes not winning anything nor is this a breakthrough performance it seems, again im just judging from the trailer.. but a trailer with leonardo dicaprio, for example, would showcase his genuine talent because hes just so good..didnt know he was doing a movie, maybe he needs to do more press..hes too cool for that too, i think hes losing his fan base completely due to his overblown unnecessary ego

      First of all, the voice they used to narrate the trailer is awful. Second, the movie could be halfway decent if they used someone else in place of Justin. I liked Alpha Dog, and I think he was so/so in it. There's just something unnatural about his acting that disturbs me a bit. His voice maybe and the fact that you can tell he's acting.

      HHis acting performance does look decent to me. The movie doesn't look that spectacular, so maybe you confuse that with bad acting skills. Justin is not an Oscar-winner, but at least he doesn't annoy me, like several actors (and even more actresses..) do.
