Katharine McPhee is biologically a brunette and now chemically a blonde!
Because blondes sell more records have more fun!
The new look accompanies her new album, Unbroken, and McPhee says:
"I’ve never dyed my hair before so this was a pretty drastic change. I’ve always been known as a brunette but I’ve been thinking about it for a long time and it kind of just fit with all of the searching with the music and experimenting that I would do the same thing with my look."
She goes on and on about her hair and adds:
"The look has affected the way I dress, it’s inspired me to be more adventurous with what I decide to wear. It’s silly that something so simple as changing your hair could have such a big effect."
Big effect indeed!

I never liked her. On AI she always tried to act like the sweet I-have-no-idea-how-beautiful-I-am ingenue but meanwhile she was like 20 and her boyfriend was like 40. I'm not buying it.

Here's what "eye" think.
the letters y and o and u are on the same line on the keyboard, within all within four keys of one another. so it is actually LESS difficult to type "you" than to use the shift key and type "U," which is extremely annoying. Also, it is simpler to type "I" than "we." So Perez, why not type "I want to know what you think" instead of "We had a faboozle time, don't U wish U were there?"

Why should I care about what color her hair is? I could NEVER see myself buying an album by Katherine McPhee ever, nor would I buy any album based on an artists looks. Big deal, she dyed her hair. Maybe she should concentrate on coming out with some good shit instead of her stupid looks. Also, didn't she come in 2nd place on American Idol like 3 years ago? Yeah sorry but maybe it's time to move on. If she hasn't made it by now it's not looking too good.
