Such A Tragedy!

At least five people are confirmed dead after a mass shooting at a gym in Collier Township, Pennsylvania on Tuesday night.

So horrible!

Our thoughts and warm vibrations to the family and friends of all those lost and to the entire community, who must be in shock after such a terrible tragedy.

      I live 10 minutes from the Collier Twp. shooting. The shooter was a male and he came into the dance class and turned off the lights and started shooting everyone. My friend Traci has two cousins that are in critical condition right now and a lot of other girls have been transported to 3 different hospitals. There are 6 confirmed dead, 5 victims and the shooter turned the gun on himself. My friends and I always go to that gym to work out, I am so grateful to be alive tonight but so sad for everyone in my area.

      Yup…scary crap! I live here in Pittsburgh…Crazy people, can't even go work out and be safe these days!! They believe it was a love triangle and thats why the guy shot everyone….and the instructor of the class was pregnant and it was her last class and she died. Soooo sad and horrible!

      Re: melsbells – I wish the best for your friends melsbells. I too live in Pittsburgh and was horrified to have this cut into my shows tonight. Not for missing the shows of course, but to hear there's yet another fucked up situation of someone who cannot let go of someone who doesn't want them. I can't believe people will cause anguish to others and not seek help instead. It's out there, free even if it cannot be afforded. Please people, if you cannot let go, seek, help, find someone to talk to. Don't take it out on innocent lives.

      It's ten minutes away from my house… my friend was shot twice. she's in critical condition… I had another friend in there who was ten yards away from the room. Everything is so surreal right now. Nothing ever happens in that area. It just doesn't happen. It's so sad. I don't understand how people could do this… how they could be so psycho. Ugh.

      The US really needs to take a long hard look at their gun laws. Obtaining a gun just by buying a car or opening a bank account? Ridiculous.

      Re: maxwell – Yeah like nothing happens there. I live in McDonald and that's like 10 minutes away. It was scary. And my dad's chiropractic office is right in Carnegie like two minutes away. I was so scared for him because he always works til like 10. It's so sad. I feel so bad. And thanks I'm praying for her.

      this was close to my house :( my stepfather's friends were apparently there, but they're okay. i hope everyone injured pulls through and i'm praying for the families that aren't as lucky.

      This is just of one of the many unfortunate reminders that it can happen to anybody at any place. But it seems to happen more in place where there is a lot people such as schools, malls, a church, and now a gym. I hope the victims and survivors are okay but this is really sad.

If my boyfriend worked down there by that I'd never let him go back!…I can't see anyone really wanting to go back to that gym, either, after such a tragedy?? It's just all so sad. Funny how the collection of garbage that bashes you for showing violence against gays is quiet when you post about non-gay violence ,don't the assholes always accuse you of only posting about gay targets.       I live near Pittsburgh, in New Castle which is the number one murder capital of America. There has to be police at every store, every public location for people to feel safe today. My heart goes out to all the families and friends who are suffering for their lost. May they all Rest In Peace. and I really hope there wasnt a pregant woman killed, that's extremely heartbreaking :'(

      this doesn't happen in Australia because psychopaths cant get their hands on firearms.
      learn from us, and get some proper laws.
      people actually have to prove they are sane and have knowledge before they get a gun, and hunters can still hunt.

      This happened close to where I grew up. I knew a few people who went to that gym. I thank God they weren't there.The victims are in my thoughts and prayers today. I hope the shooter is rotting in hell.

      Just so you know … he has a blog. It says he was planning to do this in January but chickened out. Same time that day. I live about 5 minutes from there and it's absolutely awful. I am still crying on and off; the last major tragedy like this here was Richard Baumhammers and I was in 7th grade and I've been out of high school going on 5 years now so it's been quite awhile. All the families, victims, and their friends are in my thoughts and heart.

      It amazes me how people still feel the need to bitch concerning stories such as this. A tragedy has happened and it is one which unfortunatly can not be reversed, one which people can not change so people say what they feel is appropriate. If someone wants to send 'warm vibrations', what is the big problem? Its only the same as someone sending their thoughts, just worded differently and indeed my thoughts go out to all of those affected by this awful event.

      nitnat90 is right, its horrible to see what the world is coming to and to be honest, i think people should look at that before they start tearing people down for such insignificant things such as their wording.

      i live about 15 min from that gym, have friends that go there, and cant even believe that something like that happened in bridgeville. the instructor that was killed was pregnant, and on her last night of class- such a terrible and senseless tragedy. =( thank you for thinking of them perez.
