America Ferrera looks really pretty darn cute on the set of Ugly Betty!

The execs over at ABC weren't kidding when they said that they were going to give Betty a makeover! Ain't no Ugly there.

As we mentioned last week, the execs have been testing her new look on focus groups. One member of a focus group said that the new Betty is "classier, but still far from perfect."

We think she looks pretty close to perfect.

America Ferrera is really pretty. I think the whole comedic thing behind ugly betty is the fact that she IS "ugly" or what we conceive to be ugly, thats what all the jokes are about, her personal appearance, her clothes, her hair…etc
If they go and give her a makeover I don't think the show will have the same appeal. It's like American Idol without Paula…not quite the same.

i dont like it. she looks really pretty but the show is about exceeding in the fashion world without having the clothes, beauty or the body as the others in this entertainment world.

Well if you watched the spanish version of Ugly Betty, she does have a transformation towards the end of the novela. By giving America's character a makeover, does this mean the show is coming to an end soon? She can't be Ugly Betty forever.

In the Spanish Telenovela Ugly Betty gets a makeover and becomes pretty for her boss witch she is in love with. I am guessing this is what is going to happen. She will fall in love with Daniel . She looks the same not much of a change….
