Last night's season finale of Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, which Candy Spelling recently publicly bashed, has garnered itself a huge accolade:
Over One Million Viewers!!!
For the first time in the network's history, Oxygen pulled in over one million sets of eyeballs in the 18-49 demographic with Tori Spelling's reality show and has been crowned the network's most watched telecast EVER!
The episode was about the drama surrounding baby Stella's first birthday party and the pain caused by her absent grandmother, Candy.
Candy had gone on the war path defending her choice not to attend, but somehow we think Tori doesn't care too much anymore.
She's got killer ratings now to make her feel good about herself. No need for her absent mother!

That's what it was all about from the beginning. Ratings. Period! If a daughter really wants to put things aside and try to have a relationship with her mother, she doesn't do it in front of millions. How sad. And the kids are just pawns, like in all reality shows. Daddy needs new playthings, let's put the kids to work.

i love that show, never miss an episode. it's just something about that show that keeps me interested! and her mom sucks, so wat if there r cameras u could have showed up and asked 2 have some alone time without the cameras there! go tori and dean, and monkey and ladybug!

I love Tori and her family I am glad that they are doing well her mother (or should I say her Biological Mother we all know the nanny was more of a mommy to her then Candy ever was or will be) is an evil cut throat woman she doesn't deserve to have the love her daughter trys to give her over and over again …

NICE!!! Candy is not wrong for wanting her 1st meet to be a little more private..but she should have called and made sure she talked to Tori..it would have left Tori with a better feeling and they could have scheduled a meet later on. Either way I think Tori should try again. Just make a date..dont talk on the phone about issues just talk to set a date and meet! im sure once they see each other everything else will fall into place.

i watched the final episode and let me tell you it had me in tears, as a mother i would run to be by my childrens side putting all differences aside especially if it meant being able to see my grandchildren, i mean candy spelling needs to just get over it and make up with tori i don't think tori is asking for much she just needs her mothers love!!

OOOOH PEREZ !!!! Killer ratings WILL NEVER FILL THE VOID of an absent Mom/Grand Ma. I feel very sorry for Tori as last night episode clearly shows she is still not willing to accept the status of her relationship with her mother. Tori really needs to go get some help so she can come to terms with the reality of this relationship or lack there of. Dean is right in saying she should stop whining about it and either choose to accept Candy for what she is or 86-her from their lives. Tori just keeps hoping that her Mom will change and has yet to realize the only thing she can change is how she reacts to her mothers negative attention seeking behavior.

Candy should be ashamed of herself for the things she has said about Tori in public. No mother should ever accuse her daughter of causing her father's death. What kind of mother does that? Tori has continually taken the high road and shown more dignity and class than Candy ever could ever do. Kudos to Tori for continuing on despite Candy's disgusting attempts to antagonize and hurt Tori. I hope her show continues to do well and that she is happy. She certainly has worked hard for her success instead of marrying into it like her mother did.
My asshole mother and father-in-law have not seen my two year old son and they live in the next town!!!!!!!!!!! That is my husband's choice!!! Of course they blame me but my husband had enough of their behavior…. I encouraged the relationship at first but it is my husbands choice… my son is better off!!!!

Daddy is dressed a little sloppy which is exactly how I look 99 percent of the time. The children are absolutely beautiful but I'd like to see Mom gain 10 pounds or so. They look like a nice, normal family.

Tori and Candy probably worked together to create drama for that show. This season of the show was just awful so it needed a really good finale.

I love this show…something about it is so addicting! I hope Tori and Dean are not a product of the reality show curse. They are adorable together. Can't wait until next season! For being raised as one of the wealthiest people in Hollywood, I think Tori is a wonderful human being. She has everything! Shes Nice, Humble, funny, great husband, great kids! Unfortunatly Blood is not thicker than water in her case. She does not need her mom in her life, time after time she keeps hurting her. But she naturally has a good heart, and forgives. TORI YOU'RE AWESOME!

I have been watching Tori's show for a few years now and I agree with her husband that she should stop hoping her greedy bitch of a mother does the right thing. BUT, I do have to say, Tori walking in the room after saying she was going to take the first step with her mother, and showing her on EMAIL is NOT the way to bridge this gap. Are ratings stopping her from simply calling and inviting her over WITHOUT cameras?? Tori, your emotional health is more imporatant than ratings…please be persistent and get this done. Your heart will know whether it is RIGHT or you need to move on once you meet again IN PERSON. Make the phone call…

When she and her gay friend did the show from the house because she was pregnant, when she finished talking about a piece of jewelry and was off camera she literally wiped her ass with the necklace and they died laughing. I'm happy for her, but it's not a contest, and also not the greatest way to have to get ratings, just saying. Ratings can never make up for the psychological damage felt with the absence of your Mom and a Grandmother. It could have garnered the same ratings, but with Mom just showing up and being cordial.

I like Tori & her show, I'm not sure why. She's not pretty, Dean is creepy and she's kind of fake but there's something likable about her and her kids are cute as hell. I'll keep watching next season to see what she's wearing

i watched part of the show and all it was, was Tori whinning. Even some of the guests looked uncomfortable with her wondering if her mother was going to come. Yes it stinks that she don't have a relationship with her mother, but i have to go with candy (spelling) on this one. If she really wanted a relationship again with her, she needs to get over herself first and do it in private. If she doesn't she needs to move on and let it go.
