Dr. Phil Accused Of Sexual Abuse!!!
As if he hasn't been in enough trouble lately!!!
Sara Morrison, a 44-year-old mother, is claiming that Dr. Phil sexually abused her when she took an internship at his office in 1984.
"Dr. Phil is a monster! Not a single day has gone by when I haven't been affected by what Phil McGraw did to me," said the alleged victim. "He profoundly affected the course of my life. The world should know this man is a predator and a bully. He shouldn't be telling Americans how to live their lives, how to improve themselves."
While in her sophomore year of college, Dr. Phil began treating Morrison for a sudden psychological down turn.
"I suffered from low self-esteem, and I was depressed, lonely and suicidal," recalled Sara. "Phil was extremely insistent that I call him all the time, and he would call me. He wanted to see me three or four times a week - as a patient."
Although nothing out of the ordinary occurred during treatment, McGraw hired the young girl to work as his intern the following summer while simultaneously charging her as a patient.
"The first day I showed up for work, Phil had his hands all over me," she revealed.
At the time, Phil and his second wife Robin had been married for eight years when authorities were called in to investigate the abuse, but his behavior continued.
"Phil would pull me down to sit in his lap while he talked on the phone to patients, other doctors, even his wife! He'd be running his hand up and down the inside of my thigh all the way up to my panties."

I'm not a Dr. Phil fan but I'm suspicious whenever anyone crawls out of the woodwork 20 yrs down the line and claims abuse. Why now? Back then she was old enough to know to walk out and never look back. I find it very hard to believe she was taken advantage of all those years ago and she's just now going public.

The Enquirer could have went digging, found the name and asked for the interview. There's also a possibility a claim was settled for silence for 25 years and this is the first time she's legally able to talk about it. Forget the fact that it happened. People with severe issues don't understand a lot of what is TRULY going on, rather than using a position of trust to intimidate someone.

It is a true story that many people are already aware of. For his punishment he was supposed to take some kind of ethics course in order to continue his practice, but instead he became a consultant advising people headed for trial. That's how he met Oprah, (when she was being sued by beef farmers for saying she wouldn't eat it).
I'm not a fan of Dr. Phil but I don't believe this story at all. Sounds like another opportunist.
I did hear about this some years ago after Oprah put Dr. Phil on The air, either on her show…or shortly after he got his(???)–but I did hear claims, either by this woman, or another, that Dr. Phil had sexually abuse them…and then, it was quickly swept under the rug by the media??? I guess King World, the production company behind Oprah and Phil, carries a lot of pull???

It was always something strange about him. I know he is from Texas and I actually attended college at the university that he was a professor of Psychology at. Teacher's had some not very good thing's to say about him being there in the past. Of course when I went in 2003 he havn't tought there since the 70's or something. But anyway he alway's seemed like a fake.
Ohhhh yeaaaah, I was working at a Physical Therapy clinic about 20 minutes from where I live last year where Dr. Phil's mother was a patient. WOW that woman is VERY old. She only lived about 20 minutes away from there. Of course we as office staff had to be hush hush about it because of course you didn't want everyone to know that that was HIS mother. Of course her home address was not available in her chart but you could look it up on the patient contact info and background on the computer. She was a quiet little lady, drove aMercedes or a BMW, in which she left her key's at the front office where I was until it was time for her to go. AMAZING.
