Letterman And Ferguson Are At The Top
David Letterman is kicking ass and taking names now that he can boast his longest winning streak over the The Tonight Show in over a decade.
His ratings continue to steadily beat out all of the competition and for the fourth consecutive week, his Late Show dominated Conan O'Brien's The Tonight Show.
Also doing surprisingly well is Craig Ferguson, who has won over viewers for three straight weeks against Jimmy Fallon.
The young guys are failing against the vets!

I'm not surprised. David Letterman is the best! I've been watching him since July 4, 1980 and can't imagine a day without him! GO DAVE! (If only he would send me tickets to his show! I've been trying for 20 years!)
NBC made a big mistake…….Conan or Jimmy are not even close to the same level as Leno. Craig Ferguson does a good job. I don't even like Letterman! My new show is Nightline, that is how much Conan sucks.

It's only been a few months for Conan and Fallon in their new time slots. Give it time, Conan and Fallon will do fine.
Craig is the best! His show is completely different than any other late night talk show. Nice to see him finally get some love!!
Letterman kept his guns and stayed in NY, which meant he didn't have access to all the guests Leno did. But he ran a real show.. the interviews asked real questions and managed to put guests on the spot. Meanwhile, Leno kissed ass for the entire program, but had guests.. and guests who didn't want the grilling didn't do Dave. But now you've got something different.. Conan's best bits don't work at the new time, (NBC won't go) and he simply doesn't have the interview skills to keep it going, and his monologue is terrible. Conan's best stuff were the bits (Triumph, etc.) which are softened up for the new time spot. End result: Dave is funnier, better interviews, and way better monologue. NBC is screwed when Leno becomes the ratings lead in.. in summer where it's all reruns, it's fair game. Regular season.. Dave will have CSI.. Conan has Jay as leadins.
Leno was at the top because he was more mainstream featuring the biggest stars and performers. Now Letterman (whom I think is really awesome) is up against Conan and my guess is that many switched to Letterman because they were more familiar with him than Conan. I love Conan and I prefer to watch his show over Letterman but I am a bit disappointed that he has had a few mainstream guests that he would have never had before. Oh well I guess he has to make a few changes to fit in, as long as he brings back some sketches like "The REcliner of Rage", Triumph, "If They Mated" and his Holiday picture slide featuring Andy and Max then I'll be fine with the mainstream bands that play on the show.

lol, these ratings are fucking retarded. DAVID LETTERMAN IS THE MOST RETARDED SPEAKER/INTERVIEWER ON THE PLANET. Honestyl, he makes the dumbest jokes; the show feels like its airing in the 50s. Conan, while not as consistently awesome as he may have been on Late Night, is unquestionably still better than Dave at what he does. He's more exciting with a humor that fits right in with the youthfully exuberant American taste these days. In regards to Ferguson and Fallon, both of them are incredibly gifted. While Ferguson is a tad eccentric and crazy at times, he's alawys funny and is good for a spontaneous laugh. Fallon on the other hand, while obviously nervous and feeling out his new career in the first couple weeks, has come on like a house of fire since than. His show is so funny and different than anything else out there that it si only a matter of time before people start to understand his humor. That's the major obstacle for him right now that I can hear when I watch him at night; most people, the older crowd, honestly do not understand his humor that well. He could have cracked the funniest joke in the world his first few weeks on the job and the crowd would have been dead silent. Not anymore though as Fallon has truly arrived. Oh yea, his house band is THE ROOTS. That's an f'in no brainer.
Leno back in September! Finally, I'll take any stride that removes another horseshit reality show off the airwaves.

Finally! Talent, not hype, prevails. Letterman is a fantastic talk show host, Ferguson is a brilliant comedian. (Conan is a good writer, terrible performer–who knows what Fallon is.) Anyway, it's nice to see the good guys winning.

Letterman has not changed. The Tonight Show changed. Conan sucks, Conan has always sucked and he always will suck. He can't interview a guest to save his life because then the focus would be on the guest for 2 seconds. Letterman is winning the time slot because Conan SUX. If NBC would put Fallon (or any host with talent) on the Tonight Show, Letterman would go back to 2d place.
Letterman hasn't been funny in years. Conan is great in off the cuff situations. His brain works fast. His interviews are good cause they are not made up of the canned questions everyone else asks. He really cares about who his guests are and because of that they will get on topics like crazy jobs someone had as a teen or things like that. conan's show will do better when the kids are back in school again.

Re: Texas Mom – Texas Mom, my ex-boyfriend went to NYC and was walking around in a touristy area and somebody who works for the show just came up to him and offered him a ticket. You don't have to wait 20 years. Just go to NYC and go over to the show and wait in line for a ticket or if you're walking around somebody might even give you one. They NEED an audience so it's easy for people to get in.

Only retarded ass adults and children find him funny. Jimmy Fallon is aight and Ferguson is pretty good. I'm just waiting on Leno to come back. And I noticed from watching all of these that the guests seem to have the most fun on Leno.

I could kick Ferguson's agents asses for not getting his nomination in for the Emmys. Craig should have had at least 3 to Dave's 6. The only reason I watch Letterman is because I am waiting for Craig to come on. PEREZ - you need more Juice on Craig and his wife Megan. FUN COUPLE TO WATCH!
