No More Armani For Victoria Beckham
It was announced this morning that once her contract is up, Victoria Beckham will not be renewing her agreement with Emporio Armani underwear.
Sources are saying that Victoria is leaving to "to focus on her own fashion and beauty lines", but we have an insider who tells us exclusively a whole other story.
Here's the real scoop:
"Armani wanted her to do more promotions. He wanted her to do what Eva Mendes' been doing for CK underwear, to go to Berlin, Paris (around the world) to launch promotions.
Posh would have none of it. She said since the sales have increased 80% after she graced the campaign (which is true) she doesn't need to plug it as much as Mendes does. She also refused to attend Armani fashion show in January while she was in Milan with David. So once she was about to sign the next contract, which she was willing at the time, her lawyers told her that Armani has added a clause that she would HAVE to do the promotions around the world. It was the last drop for her, so she declined to renew it.
When she was in New York at Macys promoting the new campaign, they had to twist her arm to do it anyway, but Armani will go with what her PR came up with as to why she is no more the face because they still have David contracted, and don't want to project any bad blood."
And our source has a point. Why should Posh travel when the sales are just as good without it?
Furthermore, why waste the money on the promotion when you don't even need it?
Sounds like Giorgio might getting a little greedy!

Perez, Posh is an ex-Spice Girls singer who married a high-profile athlete (and chav). She is not a major talent, not a major looker. Mr. Armani was her employer, and she refused to help promote his product.
He can sign RiRi, a supermodel, an actress, another singer. If Posh doesn't want to sign, there are plenty of sex symbols out there who would be more than happy to.
She's no where near as hot as Eva Mendes. They can do better, cheaper, without her…..
