Coldplay have cancelled postponed their concert at the Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa this Sunday due to "artist-related medical reasons."
Bummer!
The official statement on the band's website reads:
We're sorry to report that Coldplay have been forced to postpone their show at the Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa on Sunday, August 9th.
This is due to medical reasons.
The show is currently being rescheduled - we'll give you the new details as soon as we have them.
In the meantime, the band have asked us to apologise on their behalf for the inconvenience this causes.

Hey I saw them in Charlotte, NC last night and they were fantastic! Sometimes his voice was a little weak, maybe he was getting sick! Still it was amazing!
They spelled "apologize" wrong…. no "s". Weird for them not to spell check it before putting it out in the public.

The concert was cancelled due to sucking! They need to get their british bad teeth ass's out of our country! U.S.A! U.S.A! U.S.A!
Maybe they saw how white trashy and ass backward Tampa is and decided that maybe in 4 months they'd try again.

SOOOOOO upset that the concert is canceled… wanted to see them since 2001 and this was the first concert I was able to go to….. VERY DISAPPOINTED…. need to know when they are rescheduling ASAP!

Ah give it up Perez… they were in Montreal last week for an event and they were pretty amazing. 30 000 people went to see them and no other band ever gathered so many before at this event. Don't you ever get sick mister?

That happened to me in Birmingham, AL 3 years ago. It was supposed to be my 16th birthday present! hah but they finally came back this year and it was one of the greatest night of my life. So, if they ever cancel on you, don't worry too much. The wait is TOTALLY worth it!

This is the 2nd time they've cancelled in Tampa! Boo. Coincidence? And excuse me, Ouijaboard.. Tampa is awesome. I imagine you've never been here or you would know. You must be referring to St. Pete or a suburb… because downtown Tampa and South Tampa are amazing.

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THEY HAVE CANCELED A SHOW IN TAMPA!!! 2 or 3 years ago, they had a concert and it only came out a few hours before that they canceled and then they didn't reschedule for over 6 months!
