Maria Shriver At Her Mother's Bedside

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and wife Maria Shriver are currently in Massachusetts at the hospital bedside of Shriver's mother, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, sister to the late President John F. Kennedy.
The 88-year-old Eunice is reported to be in the ICU unit of a Barnstable hospital, where she is in "critical but stable condition."
So, so sad.
Says a spokesperson for the Shriver family:
"Her entire family is with her — her husband, all her children and her grandchildren. The family is grateful for the prayers of her many friends."
Our thoughts are with the Shrivers during this difficult time.
Stay strong!

:(
aww
Aww, they still hold a resemblance, even with the difference of age.
As harsh as it sounds atleast this Kennedy has had a long, full life. Kennedys are sadly not known for their luck…
It's sad yes that they are probably going to lose her. But she's had a long life and a good one so one should more celebrate her life than anything else.
Oh dear lord. hot mama! Sexy grandma!!
Re: PerezTheBlogNazi –
they sure do
not sure that's a good thing though
Death is always a sad thing, but given the tragedy that has befallen Eunice's family, she's had a good innings!
She has grown up to raise a family, and see that family raise families of their own.
Her death should be celebrated as the "end of a life" rather than the "loss of a life" & my thoughts are with her family.
Re: AmDram –
Agreed!
such a cute family tacky but true the kennedy´s are american royalty
AHH THE LIVING DEAD!
The Kennedy's are the essence of what this country should be.
If you have the means to help someone, you help someone.
Don't look for the glory. Just do it, without thinking about something in return.
JFK did it.
Robert did it.
Teddy is still doing it.
So is Eunice.
Everyone you write about, Perez, should take a leaf out of their books.
Otherwise, we're screwed. Big time.
Re: Nostradamus – Hehehe.
Bless her to be at peace.
Sounds like she is loved.
ok she is like super ancient it's gonna happen one day…. that should be the mentality.
Shes frickin old people die.Hey Arnold check out your mother inlaw cause thats what your wifes going to look like when shes old, scarey huh

I HATE TO BE MEAN BUT SHE LOOKS DEAD ALREADY! I FEEL SORRY FOR MARIA SHE HAS THAT LOOK TO LOOK FORWARD TO AT (WELL HOW OLD IS SHE NOW) OK I GIVE HER TILL NEXT YEAR BEFORE SHE STARTS TO LOOK LIKE THAT (HER MOTHER). SHE IS REALLY REALLY UGLY. WILL THEY BOTH ARE WOW.
This is not sad!
She is old and she led a very long and very privileged life. What else do you whant?
.
Re: jeremiah – LOL!!! Are you kidding me?
The Kennedy family are a bunch of elitist pigs. Besides being substance abusers the men ALL cheat on their wives and the wives just accept it to not shame the name.
Kennedy's have been accused of rape and murder (Michael Skakel), murder (Ted Kennedy), they lobotomized their eldest daughter Rosemary and put her in a mental ward b/c she wasn't "as smart" as the other kids. That's right they LOBOTOMIZED their own daughter b/c she wasn't as bright as they thought she should be and they were ashamed of her.
Joseph Kennedy is a reputed huge anti-semite as well.
The Kennedy's are complete elitist pigs and who gives a shit if Eunice the shrew is dying? They all think they are better than everyone. The entitlement that JFK Jr's sister exhibited regarding the Senate in NY was disgusting.
Can't stand the Kennedys.
Re: jeremiah – Right, like the way Teddy helped that poor woman who drowned in the Lake? He let her DIE. She was most probably his extra-marital affair and he let her die…though to be honest, I think he killed her intentionally.
The Kennedys help no one but themselves. They are a bunch of self-interested, self-serving narcissists. Can't wait for that whole klan to die off.
At least she lived a long, full life
And also, she is by far the best dressed 88 year old I've eve seen! My thoughts are with the family, god bless them…
Nothing better than a dead liberal. She must be welcoming Obamacare by taking one for the team. Now if only Ted would die, fucking pig.
I pray she gets better.
Re: CittyKat – CittyKat said it best!
She lived a great life.. it's sad to let someone go no matter what their age…
Many of us who still have both parents have no idea what it's like to lose one..
What is the ailment that is so life threatening?
SO SORRY TO SAY THIS… but the grandma looks scary and the lady looks like the female version of tom cruise. and i hope she gets better…
Awww. She is a great women. Just was watching her on something on tv this am. They have always been so close nit . God bless her and her family thrue this hard time. Beautiful people:)
I wish we had government run health care, as this family is the "poster child" for the Dems. I am certain she'd be getting the care she really deserves.
Re: CittyKat – All true. Thanks for telling it like it is.
Ewww Maria is starting to look like her now.
My heart goes out the whole Family!
Eunice Kennedy Shriver is an American Hero!
She is a Great Human being!
Re: CittyKat –
First, Michael Skakal was not a Kennedy. His aunt was married to a Kennedy.
Second, Eunice Kennedy is one of the most charitable people out there. And she does it the right way, by not talking about it non-stop, which is why you are probably unaware of it. She completely changed the way the mentally disabled are treated in this country, she and her husband started the Special Olympics, she was the only Kennedy to maintain contact with her sister who was institutionalized, she had a career as a social worker, and was one of the key founding members of the NICHD, just to name a few. Her husband founded many charities and programs, including Head Start, Upward Bound, and Job Corps, just to name a few.
She is a truly charitable person who doesn't expect praise and fame for her action. She lived an extraordinary life and deserves praise for the selfless things she did for others.
Re: jeremiah –
I couldn't agree more. Thank you for saying it and for saying it so VERY well!
Re: LilJoJo – Wow, that's funny you ention all the the thing's that Mrs. Kennedy was a part of. I was either a beneficiary or a participant in some of the thing's you have mentioned. I have worked with the Mentally disabled and participated in assisting a client in the special Olympic's. I was in the UpwardBound program from my sophomre year to senior year in high school. W/o that program I don't think I would have even knew how, or attempted to go through with attending college. I also took a plane ride for the first time in my life for a tour in D.C. I was in the headstart program as a preschooler. Wow, I had no idea she was responsible for getting those organization's started. I want to weep b/c I feel like this woman had a hand in changing my life and giving me a chance on this planet. I will admit I have fucked up in college and didn't get my four year degree. I am a single mother with a beautiful son. I want to make my life better by going back to school and not fucking it up. I can only thank this woman for opening door's for the unfortunate in life.
Never had an ambition to be stylish. Oh, I could have assisted her so! …J.
PEREZ — LIKE YOU GIVE A FLYING FUCK ????
You are all about "self-promotion" — you're 31, and don't even KNOW who the Shrivers really are !!
You're too Hollywood for anyone to listen to anymore. TIME TO SHUT DOWN YOUR SITE (unless, of course, I get some kind of PAYOFF, GIRLSLUT !_
heh heh heh
I live down the street from the hospital and the news have been all over this its crazy. She is in the Cape Cod Hospital and I'm assuming you maybe didn't want to give away the name or something but it is the only hospital in the entire area. So it's not that much of a difference.
one less Kenedy A-HOLE!
One less Kennedy A-HOLE!!!
Re: PerezTheBlogNazi –
It's even more amazing to hear about what's she's done when you see how it changed a person's life. And you are just one of many lives she's changed
BTW, I'm sure you'll finish college. It will no doubt be difficult, but I know several single mother's in your position whose determination defied the odds. Good luck!
love her. god bless. she lived with class and courage, i imagine she will pass the same way. Her family, i know, is , and should be, tremendously proud.
