Fly Like MJ, High On Planes
It would seem that Michael Jackson's drug use was so out of control, that he was unable to make it through a plane ride without using.
Dieter Wiesner, MJ's former manager, recalls one such incident when he was traveling with MJ, his kids, and, of course, a doctor:
"On one flight, Michael sat in the back row with Paris, and I sat in the row in front with Prince. I made sure the doctor was in front and I would watch him for the whole flight to make sure he didn't walk back to Michael and slip him something."
This helped while they were in the air, but once they were grounded and in a hotel, Dieter couldn't be in such control:
"I left the room for 30 minutes. I came back and he was drugged and would not act or react like before…He was out of control."
Wow. That's pretty rough. And with the kids around? We're sure he kept them away from it, but to be so bad off that even the presence of your kids can deter your usage, it must have been pretty bad for MJ.

I think he was high around his kids all the time, ran around in pajamas, took them to after hours toy stores and had no regular schedule of anything. This is a good father?

I think most adults nowadays drug themselves on planes. Come on. At least sleeping pills.
I'm sick of every detail about MJ's life or drug use or kids' paternity or will or WHATEVER being splashed everywhere still. He hated the frenzy then at he'd hate it now. Let the man rest in peace.

Why does his family, in particular, the self-serving Jermaine, who is more interested in promoting his own image and publicity than being truthful about Michael, keep denying there was every a problem? OBVIOUSLY there was a problem - A HUGE PROBLEM. I think as hard as it would have been, the Jackson family should have threatened him with Child Services (that his kids would be taken away from him and put in the care of a family member like Rebbie) if he did not get help. There is no way they could not have communicated on the phone so there is no way they can say they could never get to him. Michael was infamous for calling people during the night for hours on end. One tragedy after another. All the signs in the world of him screaming out for help and no one listening who wanted to risk ending their own gravy train. Sick and sad. Those poor kids are going to have to grow up with all this garbage - the worst of it is the stuff that is true.

Michael's obvious out of control addict to drugs should be a lesson to everyone…Addiction doesn't discriminate - it can overtake a "regular" person such as me or you - and a "celebrity" like Michael. Michael was sick (mentally) and needed help…but in the world of Hollywood it can be your "help" that destroys you. He has so many enablers around him - so many "yes" people. Someone needed to say "NO" to him and get him into rehab asap…especially given that there were three little kids involved.
All this is too late now though…and the endless speculation and gossip is pointless. I don't know why all these people who were around Michael feel the need to share all these sorrid details of his life and his struggles…oh wait a minute. Yes I do know why! It's called MONEY!!! Who gives a shit about being loyal to someone, even though he's dead and cannot defend himself - even though he was supposedly your "friend" - fuck him over anyways by selling him out to highest paying piece of shit tabloid!
No wonder Michael turned to drugs…I would have too if I had to live more than ten seconds of his exsistence. People need to have more compassion for Michael - you didn't live his life and you didn't know what his problems were so don't judge him.

wow I love how they blame everyone else for his addiction, they act like the doctor drugged him w/o consent or something. Michael Jackson is responsible for his own drug issues, & like a lot of addicts he took a dose that im sure he's taken before but this time his body couldnt handle it & he died. it happens all the time, im sick of hearing people point the finger as if Michael wouldnt have found a way to use w/o the help of a doctor.
I'm glad he's dead. What a self-indulgent mess.

Why are you sure he kept the kids out of it? Thats like saying that a drunk keeps their kids out of it. He was high all day, he only cared about his drug use, obviously not whether or not it would effect his children.

He was absolutely messed up around his kids. I think it so rediculous how everything is all about what a great father he was, the guy was an addict. An ACTIVE addict is not a good father no matter what. If he was not wealthy and had nanny's watching his kids can you imagine what could have happened to them? On the amount of opiates and benzos he was taking he was not even remotely capable of being a complete father to them. Being a father is more than just loving them, more than just buying them stuff. Its not using drugs. Period. Even if he truly was in pain and needed pain meds- he did not need that amount.

Wow this guy was one of the shadiest people who hung around Michael. Dieter Wiesner has been out of the picture for awhile now. Also Michael had a fear of flying and if you read Aprodite Jone's book "Michael Jackson Conspiracy" then you will see that a flight attendant who used to work on alot of MJ's flights said that Michael would always sleep during the flight, and would drink a little alchohol (yes Michael was human and drank from time to time) to relax on flights. I was wondering when Dieter W. was going to come out to get his 15 seconds of shame like the rest of the people who have decided to crawl from under their rocks since Michael's passing.

but i read somewhere that Michael always drank some wine or something on flights (not loads, just a bit) because he was scared of flying?? which is fair enough, and he might have taken sleeping pills if it was a longg flight..?

Dieter Wiesner was a very shady person who got fired by Michael around 2003.
One thing you all should think about.. how come these people like Dieter Weisner, Chopra, Geller and Fiddes all claim that Michael were high, BUT they admit they never saw him taking any drug and they all havnt seen him for many many years. BUT then we have the other gang like Miko Brando. Loui Ferrigano, Frank Dileo, Mark Lester, Liz Taylor etc who met, talk and saw Michael every day and they claim they have NEVER seen him high. Seriously.. can come people on this site stop believing everything you read? You are so close-minded.
