Michael Jackson Vienna Tribute Gears Up, To Be Broadcast Worldwide

A Michael Jackson tribute in Vienna will feature a 3 hour parade of stars and will be televised globally to 1 billion people.
At the moment negotiations are underway to determine which networks will get the broadcast.
The tribute's lineup is also in talks, with Madonna, U2, Lionel Richie and Whitney Houston to possibly perform.
The tribute is scheduled for the second half of September and tickers to go on sale August 20th with a "significant portion" of the proceeds donated to several different charities.
The tribute will take place in Vienna because it is believed that Michael would have preferred it because "It's a little bit like Neverland, but much bigger."
This has disaster written all over it!

Why would you think that? That's the same thing that people were thinking about his Memorial at The Staples Center and it was lovely, I should know because I was there. Everyone thought us fan's were going to act like we didn't have any sense, I don't know why? but everything went just fine and I think this tribute will do well also.

DISASTER? Are you kidding me? Its going to be great!! If thats the line up, then why would it be horrible? That there is actually going to be talent performing? If Michael was alive, he would be greatly honored that someone thought of honoring him this way, for his contribution to music and his humanitarianism. I think it will be done with class, just like his memorial.

Why would it be a disaster Perez?? It's a tribute concert to honor the memory of the King Of Pop with credible artists. Your tour on the other hand would probably be more of a disaster than this!!!!

Why Vienna indeed, apparently because MJ loved castles, although they are holding it in the grounds of a Palace, which looks nothing like a castle, (I live near it btw). A quick look at the company behind it (World Awards Media) and thier connection to Jerkmaine who collected an award from them on behalf of his brother might explain it. More scary is the CNN interview with Larry king and his wife, which you can view on the tribute2009 website.
a "not unsubstatial amount" of the money from the tribute will be divided between 3 charities, Feed the Children, The Larry King Cardiac Foundation and Jermaine Jacksons "Earth Care Foundation". How much is a "not unsubstantial amount"? €20, €200, €2m who knows? oops, hold on, rewind video, reread statement on website, yep, clearly says on both "money to Jerkmaine Jacksons "Earth Care Foundation, how nice, except this charity does not actually exist, anywhere, and never has, can you find it? I bet not! fark off Jerkmaine, fark off Georg Kindel, we think we know why Vienna.
