Some people say the difference is size. In many parts of the country, small and medium shrimp are sold simply as shrimp, while large, extra-large, and jumbo shrimp are called prawns. In Italy, Dublin Bay prawns are called scampi, which has confused North Americans even more. In Canada and the US, scampi refers to a dish of large shrimp that are cooked with garlic and butter or olive oil.

It's pretty similar to a shrimp, but they are two different things. People in the UK do not call prawns shrimps, they call prawns prawns and shrimps shrimps.

So what I does is… erm. Yep what I does is put the kettle on until it is all bubbly and there's like smoke coming out of the spout. Then I's take the lid of the tub and pour the hot clear stuff over the stuff in the tub and let it stand for a minute or so, although of course it can't stand cos it's a pot. It like, sits. But then after a minute (i like to look at my reflection in a mirror to pass the time) it is cooked. It's my signature dish is like erm a bunch of noodles in a pot. Victoria likes to lick the lid. Me is cook.
