The return of Regis Philbin to ABC's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire isn't drawing audiences back to the network!
Millionaire premiered to a 1.5 rating/5 share with 7 million viewers on Sunday night, putting the Philbin-hosted game show in 4th place for the night and placing it in the leagues of an America's Funniest Home Videos repeat (5.8 million viewers)!
Not a good sign!
ABC will continue with the 11-episode return of Regis, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, over the next 15 nights.

on regis and kelly this morning he said it was number one on sunday night! personally i hate regis and think he is full of himself
not really.. unless they put male strippers in the background, then I would definitely tune it to that.
The show is different & it sucks! They have categories (which is ok) but there is now a timer and Regis rushes them thru the questions. One guy he literally cut off mid-sentence to yell at him "FINAL ANSWER??". It is just too hurried, takes the fun out!

I liked the show before but now it sucks. They interrupted in the middle of someone's game last night to start a new celebrity game. It is way too rushed and confusing and the questions aren't good like before.
I'll watch only if nothing else on.

No - too bo-ring! Nobody ever wins and it takes forever to get through those stoopid 100 dolla q's!!
The new format is much better, why are people complaining? With a timer, the contestants can't waste 2 minutes answering every question with some boring personal story that vaguely relates to the answer of the question.
Like another commenter just said, it took too long to get through the low-money questions… except now it's much faster and wastes less time, so it's a better show.
I saw some of them on tv… I just thought they were reruns… but still… they lost everyone when they changed to that girl….. shows have evolved and gotten more intense.. they might as well just give up now….
