It was a great day for exercise guru Richard Simmons yesterday!

While probably waiting for someone more famous, the paps snapped a few shots of Richard as he headed up to his dance class in Beverley Hills.

Look how happy he is someone is giving him some attention. That fed his ego for at least a month!

      Richard Simmons is truly a life saver to many many people struggling with weight issues and should not be made a fool of. This is a man with so much compassion for people yet so ridiculed. It's tragic when someone who does as good as he does can be ridiculed by someone as tasteless as you.

      I was on a cruise in the Carribbean in April and he was on the same cruise, he is actually a very down to earth and friendly person … and probably has more respect then u ever will for others …

      I love Richard Simmons. I met him at the airport in New York once and he was the nicest and most fun person I have ever met. Then I found out about all the charity work he does and that he personally helps overweight people and even calls them on a regular basis to check up and make sure they are doing okay. He's one of a kind and I wish there were more people like him. He's great!
