Idol Wants Paula - AUSTRALIAN Idol!
Paula Abdul is playing hardball!
The former American Idol judge is taking gigs left and right, most likely in an attempt to up her salary negotiations to return to the show.
But now reports are that Abdrool might actually be appearing on Idol soon.
Australian Idol.
And with the Australian version following a similar format to the US version, it'd be easy for Paula to fit in.
Sources say the Aussie execs have already reached out with a request to snag Paula away.
But unless it's a HUGE amount, we doubt she'll take it.

God no we don't need 2 nice people on the judging panel. There is no way they could afford her though. Kyle Sandilands who got booted only made $1 million Australian from being on idol.

we couldn't afford her, and nor would we want her. pretty sure this is a load of rubbish, word is the replacement judge for Australian Idol will be someone from within the Sony company, you know, someone with music industry credibility. as if we'd want paula…we already have one useless judge in Marcia Hines.
Who cares? I don't care how many people watch American Idol . . . Most Americans' musical taste SUCKS!! Why do you think Britney could make a come back? How do you think Paula could even be considered a judge of musical talent when she couldn't sing herself? She is a friggin dancer, and that is all.

Not that I watch Australian Idol but why are we going to have 2 Americans and a Brit judging? OK D-I-C-K-O would be the the only reason to watch it but still, the only judge with slight credibility but, there's many talented Aussie Ockers…. oh yeah… actually anyone with real talent wouldn't be caught dead on this show.

Paula is as unique as anything about that show. If you look back at a lot of the real stars, garland and such, they were continual being judged the way you judge Abdul. In no way am am I comparing paula to Judy garland as far as talent goes-more just both being peculiar.
Whatever. I like Paula and am not watching Idol this season.
